William Huang, MD is board-certified in Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology and Cardiovascular Disease by the American Board of Internal Medicine. He earned his B.S. in Bioengineering from UC Berkeley and M.D. from David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. He completed his residency in internal medicine and fellowships in cardiovascular disease and clinical cardiac electrophysiology at the UCLA Medical Center.

Dr Amir Solhpour is an advanced structural interventional cardiologist trained at the prestigious Texas Medical Center, the hugest medical center in the world, located at Houston, Texas where the first heart transplant in the US was performed and also many first innovative cardiac procedures have been performed for the first time in the United States. He was selected as the clinical and research cardiology fellow of the year several times during his training and received several awards. He has six board certificates which is rare among cardiologists. He is American board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiology, Interventional Cardiology, Echocardiography, Nuclear Cardiology and Registered Physician For Vascular Interpretation (RPVI exam certified). Dr Solhpour practiced cardiology for two years in Texas before he moves to Southern California to be close to his family. In addition to extra training in lipid and cholesterol management, his subspecialty includes management of various cardiac and vascular conditions using minimally invasive catheter-based therapy. This includes wide range of procedures such as TransCatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR) for severe symptomatic aortic valve stenosis, MitraClip procedure to percutaneously repair leaky mitral valve, Left atrial appendage closure using WATCHMAN device, closure of PFO or ASD. He is also specialized in treating aortic aneurysm using minimally invasive approach (EVAR). As an interventional cardiologist, he also treats various life threatening conditions such as cardiac arrest or cariogenic shock using percutaneous ECMO placement to bypass both lung and heart in an emergency situations as a bridge to the final treatment. Dr Solhpour also treats life-threatening pulmonary embolism or large burden thrombus in the arterial system of the lower extremity via placement of EKO catheter and using reduced dose targeted fibrinolytic. He also treats coronary artery diseases, carotid diseases and lower extremity vascular blockages using balloons and stents.
He has published more than 30 papers in the peer reviewed journals and has presented several times in the national and international conferences including American Heart Association, American College of Cardiology. Dr Solhpour just recently wrote a chapter as first author about “Percutaneous Left Ventricular Assist Devices” in one of the internationally well known book references for interventional cardiologists, entitled “Cardiovascular Catheterization and Interventions” published in 2017. He speaks English, Farsi and French.
Dr Solhpour enjoys watching movies, playing volleyball and traveling during his free time. He is so excited to use his expertise to serve residents of Glendale and Los Angeles area to treat and more importantly to prevent cardiovascular diseases.

Dr. Riffel-Dalinger is Board Certified in Cardiovascular Diseases and Internal Medicine. He obtained his medical education in Argentina where he graduated from Cordoba National University School of Medicine in 1974. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine in 1975. He then began his cardiology training at White Memorial Medical Center. Dr. Dalinger has been honored to be the Director of Electrophysiology and Electrocardiography at Glendale Adventist Medical Center, Director of Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory at Glendale Adventist Medical Center, Director of the Coronary Care Unit at Glendale Adventist Medical Center, Chairman of Cardiology at Glendale Adventist Medical Center. Dr. Dalinger has participated in multiple pharmalogical research studies. He received the “Spirit of Life” award and commendations from the city of Los Angeles for the largest donation to Glendale Adventist Medical Center (2.5 million dollars) being donated by one of his patients. Dr. Dalinger enjoys bicycling and enjoys singing in the choirs and choral groups. He is married and has 4 adult children and 6 grand children.

Dr. Aleman is Board Certified in Cardiovascular Diseases and Internal Medicine. He obtained his medical education at Loma Linda where he graduated in 1983. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Loma Linda and White Memorial Hospital in 1986. He began his cardiology training at White Memorial Medical Center and Good Samaritan. He completed his cardiology fellowship in 1989 and was board certified in cardiovascular disease in 1990. He obtained a Fellowship in Interventional Cardiology 1990.
Dr. Aleman has enjoyed sharing his expertise in Interventional Cardiology with friends that he has made in other countries over the years. He took a Glendale Academy sponsored trip to Argentina in the city of Puiggari where they instructed staff cardiologists on the art of angioplasty when it was first introduced to the university.
Dr. Aleman went on to lead a team of cath lab personnel to the Khon Kam University in North East Thailand where they were instrumental in initiating a cardiovascular angiography program during the first ever coronary angioplasty at the lab and in teaching the physicians and fellows on angioplasty, stenting, and pacemaker placements. Dr. Aleman has published in the area of mitral valvuloplasty in the American College of Cardiology Journal and has participated in research programs for Medtronic and Biotronik. Dr. Aleman considers himself a Glendale native. He has been in Glendale since 1969 and graduated from Glendale Academy. Dr. Aleman is married and has three children. He enjoys traveling, bicycling, and skiing.
Dr. Amir H. Sadrzadeh Rafie (Amir Rafie) is an Interventional Cardiologist at Glendale Heart Institute and the Director of Chest Pain Center at Adventist Health Glendale. Dr. Rafie is board certified in Interventional Cardiology, Cardiovascular Disease, Internal Medicine, Echocardiography, Nuclear Cardiology and Cardiovascular Computed Tomography. He has a long standing interest in all aspects of cardiovascular disease and is dedicated to serving the needs of his patients with a focus on the evaluation and management of coronary artery disease, valvular heart disease, structural heart disease, heart failure, hypertension, lipid disorders and peripheral vascular disease.
Dr. Rafie has obtained his medical degree from Tehran University of Medical Sciences. He then pursued his research interest in cardiovascular disease at Stanford University Medical Center where he had the unique and extremely rewarding experience of working in the laboratory with world renowned leaders in the fields of stem cell therapy, exercise stress testing and vascular medicine. He went on to complete his Internal Medicine residency at Yale New Haven Hospital, Yale School of Medicine. After residency, Dr. Rafie completed his Cardiology fellowship at Cedars Sinai Medical Center. He subsequently pursued further specialty training in Interventional Cardiology at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA).
In additional to numerous publications in notable peer-reviewed journals and presenting his research at national and international conferences, Dr. Rafie has co-authored a book chapter on transradial approach in structural heart disease.
Dr. Rafie is affiliated with Adventist Heath Glendale, Glendale Memorial Hospital and USC Verdugo Hills Hospital. He is fluent in Farsi.
