Our patient presented with significant loss of enamel on her teeth. This loss came from acid erosion in combination with grinding and clenching. This loss of tooth structure collapsed her bite and made her exposed dentin even more susceptible to decay. We built her bite back to a comfortable position and covered the exposed dentin with crowns. The junction of the crown to tooth was placed slightly below the gum line to protected it from future breakdown. Patient loved the results!
