Realtors wear many hats. We aren’t title reps, but are expected to know about chain of title and liens.

We aren’t escrow officers, but need to know about earnest money, vesting, deed, mortgage, and settlement statements.

We aren’t inspectors, yet still have to do our due diligence of the property.

We aren’t lenders, yet need to estimate costs, explain the big lending terms to our clients and remind them to not make any big purchases.

We sure as heck aren’t therapists or babysitters, yet we calmly explain and sooth our client’s concerns. We carry their kids while they walk the house and even take them aside and help them see the big picture.
