Things have been a bit crazy here but this little lady is getting closer to her fabulous reveal!❤️

One thing that is taking FOREVER is the Dusty Rose (do you remember that color?) flocking liner. I’ve removed A LOT of that stuff in my life but I swear this has been harder to pull up than the carpet and pad in our house reno! 😳💪🏻 Not sure what the manufacturer used. None of my usual tricks have worked but I finally got all the drawers ready to go! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Hopefully, I get to really pretty her up tomorrow!

I FINALLY got a piece done that has been in my head for TWO WHOLE YEARS!

When I saw the old, rusty and crusty (swoon ❤️) firepit base, while doing some picking, two years ago 😉, I immediately saw a coffee table. I sat it out in the backyard just waiting for the day that i would get around to it! (Actually, remembering it! lol)

THAT DAY HAS ARRIVED!

I joined pieces of old wood that I had around for the table top and included a sign that I had made two years ago for a junk garden raised bed that only lasted one year before collapsing. (see last pic)
I learned that probably relining the box before planting the next garden is kinda necessary! ESPECIALLY when using old wood! That already old wood rotted and one day the box collapsed! Lesson learned! 😂

That sign was outside getting even more beautifully weathered!

I took an old and weathered wood coatrack, removed the handles and incorporated it into all the other pieces, leaving the holes and metal in place. Next, cut the circle (not an easy feat when cutting old wood in a curve), took a wire brush to the firepit (kinda wished afterwards that I didn't). Finally I sealed all that yumminess in so it will last a long time!

I really love giving old things new life!

I can ✅ that one off the list! WOOHOO!

I seriously LOVE taking brand spanking new wood and making it look old! ❤️ There’s no fun (for me, at least) in taking old wood and restoring it. I can do that but I love old wood and I love trying different techniques to make it look like it’s been around for awhile. I mean, just check out that awesome water stain! (Swoon ❤️)

It’s been awhile since I made one of these chair planters but I think that this one just might be my favorite!

So…..what do you do with a perfectly weathered chair and a beautiful rusty and crusty (swoon❤️) shovel? Why you cut a hole in it for a 10” terracotta pot, attach that shovel head and paint an inspirational sign on it! WHICH, btw is no small task when it’s all rusty and crusty! (Be still my beating heart! 😉)

Chair and pot are included. The flowers are not.

Keep life organized with this one-of-a-kind Painted Porch Studios wall organizer. Perfect for a home office, front entryway, kitchen, or mudroom etc. Would be cute above a sofa to hold pics and special memories!

This piece was originally a shutter. I removed the fabric, painted it and distressed it. I added the bulletin board, then stenciled on the farmers market (which I designed), added the wire mesh, three double hooks along the bottom and a little cup to hold your pushpins! And of course, I left some of the original hinges and holes for authenticity! It comes ready to hang.

The buyer of this piece (TX) was kind enough to send me a picture of it in its new home after she filled it with her grandma's china! Isn't that china beautiful?! I then used multiple techniques and treatments to create an incredible “one-of-a-kind” finish. All my pieces are hand painted and then sealed to protect them for years to come!

Out with the old and in with the new! ❤️. I can’t wait for the new apron to start looking like my old one!

I needed a rolling stand for my drill press (I like to have everything movable) so I said to myself that I should build it out of scrap wood. Challenge accepted! It’s all scrap wood from other projects and most of it was new (just cut) wood. If you know me and my style you would know that that would never do! 🥴😳. So after building it I used my favorite home brewed recipe to age the wood and then designed and cut the stencils, painted them on, added a little metal thingy to hold the chuck and VOILA……. my new, totally awesome and TOTALLY me, drill press stand! (swoon) ❤️❤️❤️ 😂😂😂 Hard to believe that was all new wood (mostly!} ❤️

Decided to have a little fun today for just a bit! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

I picked up these cute boxes with the somewhat bedraggled hydrangeas that I actually thought I could return to their full glory! (Ya, right! 🥴. Me and my two black thumbs are on it!)

Actually, they were half price at Sprouts and my thoughts were really, “Hey, Terry. Those boxes need something cute stenciled on them and BONUS you don’t have to build them AND I think they’ll fit on the back of a toilet AND if by some miracle you can keep those really cute flowers alive that would be awesome!” Yuuup! Those were my thoughts exactly so I bought two of ‘em! 😳😂😂😂

I figure when those hydrangeas can no longer hold on under my watchful eye, I’ll put some fake ones in the box along with a roll of toilet paper! I already checked……it fits!

Now back to furniture and renos and not necessarily in that order!
