Abusive officers frequently spent months befriending and grooming kids, according to police and court documents. Many used the threat of arrest or physical harm to make their victims comply.

“After cops were charged with child s*x crimes, some agencies tried to distance themselves in news reports by saying the alleged misconduct happened while officers were off duty. But not all law enforcement leaders believe that distinction matters,” the Washington Post said.

A woman was s*xually assaulted Sunday at the Culver City Metro station, alarming the community and raising questions about station safety.

LA Metro releases monthly updates on violent crimes and minor offenses. The latest available data reveals a worsening trend:

-In May, there were eight reported cases of s*xual battery (representing a 33% increase from April’s six cases).
-Between January and May of this year, 30 s*xual battery cases were reported either at Metro stations or aboard buses and trains.

Reports only categorize these incidents as s*xual battery or harassment. As a result, this classification system may actually understate the severity of some incidents while also undercounting the true number of crimes.

The San Francisco City Attorney has announced a groundbreaking lawsuit against the operators of 16 AI-powered “un******ng” websites. These sites, which use artificial intelligence to create and distribute non-consensual n**e images of women and girls, are now facing legal action for violating state and federal image-based s*xual abuse (IBSA) laws.

The lawsuit accuses the website operators of breaching laws that prohibit:

-Deepfake po*******hy
-Revenge po*******hy
-Child po*******hy
-California’s unfair competition law

San Francisco’s filing cited how one of the un******ng websites is brazenly promoting its ability to create nonconsensual n**es and deepfakes, stating:

“Imagine wasting time taking her out on dates, when you can just use [redacted website name] to get her n**es.“

Ricardo Flores, the leader of a shamanistic community with various locations across the United States, was apprehended by law enforcement officials on Wednesday, August 7, 2024. The arrest came after multiple accusers reported s*xual assaults allegedly perpetrated by Flores in Riverside County.

According to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department, the assaults primarily took place at a residence in the 26000 block of Sandi Lane in Moreno Valley. However, the allegations are related to multiple incidents across Riverside County, indicating a pattern of s*xual abuse that may have occurred over an extended period.

Flores was arrested while returning to the United States from Mexico. The suspect was transported back to Riverside County and booked at the Robert Presley Detention Center for s*xual assault and child s*xual abuse.

The LAPD’s investigation has revealed a disturbing pattern in the accounts provided by Olds’ alleged victims. Detective Brent Hopkins, a Special Assault Section supervisor, stated:

“We heard the same story again and again. Mr. Olds started off charming but then used brutal violence to carry out these r**es. Some of these survivors suffered in silence for years before finding the strength to speak up.”

The victims reported that Olds initially created a false sense of security during their encounters before turning violent without seeking consent. This pattern of behavior has led investigators to believe that there may be additional victims who have not yet come forward, especially considering Olds’ travels and his work as an actor.

The LAPD is urging anyone with information that could lead to the identification of additional victims or witnesses to come forward. Chavez is accused of molesting three children at his wife’s daycare center – Chavez Family Daycare – located at the family’s home on the 18400 block of Blue Sky Street.

A report from NBC News finds that deepfake videos of celebrity women from around the world are still being bought online using Mastercard and Visa credit cards. K-Pop stars, Hollywood & Bollywood actresses, and even Ivanka Trump were targeted by various “hidden link” websites.

“Fan-Topia, the largest subscription website for nonconsensual s*xually explicit deepfakes of celebrities, advertises the ability for subscribers to pay creators for the material with Visa and Mastercard credit cards or cryptocurrency. After the site appeared to shut down major accounts on the platform following a March 2023 NBC News article, deepfake accounts have returned to Fan-Topia using ‘hidden links.’”

A San Fernando Valley man was arrested on a three-count federal grand jury indictment alleging he used Instagram to advertise s*xually explicit images of high school girls without their permission, to distribute child s*xual abuse material (CSAM) and to further threaten victims who objected to his behavior.

Alejandro Garcia Aranda, 23, of Sylmar, is charged with one count of advertisement of child po*******hy, one count of distribution of child po*******hy, and one count transmitting threatening communications with intent to extort:

Mitchell Takata, 21, of Los Altos, has been charged with s*xually abusing a severely handicapped and non-verbal girl under 10 years old.

A behavioral therapist, Mitchell Takata is alleged to have s*xually abused the girl inside her home during a therapy session.

Takata faces the following charges:

· Lewd acts upon a child under the age of 14
· Attempted s*xual in*******se or so**my with a child under the age of 10
· Attempted r**e of a victim with a mental/physical disability

Mitchell Takata had been employed as a behavioral therapist for approximately three years. He primarily worked with severely disabled children.

Given Takata’s employment history, police believe there may be additional s*xual abuse victims and are asking for the public’s assistance.

William Isaac Thomas Jr., a Los Angeles photographer who reportedly portrayed himself as a modeling industry expert, has been charged with s*xually assaulting three aspiring models over several years.

Thomas allegedly s*xually abused men who were pursuing modeling careers.

Prosecutors said the timeline of the s*xual assaults includes:

· First victim was 18 at the time, and the abuse occurred beginning in 2017 through 2020
· Second victim was abused until 2023 after an initial working relationship was established when the survivor was 19 to 20
· Third victim met Thomas in 2022 when he was 19, and the alleged s*xual abuse occurred through 2023

Six victims have reportedly been identified, but police believe there may be additional survivors and are seeking the public’s assistance.
