This week for thankful Thursday the KFSH team went down to Pierside Preschool to honor director Jen McClellan. The school is a part of First Christian Church in Huntington Beach and has continued to grow since its start over 50 years ago with multiple schools and locations. The staff reflect Jesus love to the students on a daily basis and are a huge support to Jen as she also loves being able to support the teachers and be their advocate.

We thank Carolina's Italian Restaurant and Save the Storks for providing delicious pasta!

This week for Thankful Thursday the KFSH team went down to honor Pastor Brian Anderson and team of Mission Hills Church. When we arrived, we were greeted by the awesome staff with friendly smiles and grateful bellies as the smell of hot pasta and garlic bread, from Carolina's Italian Restaurant, filled the room.

Mission Hills was founded in the 1970s by pastor Jim Folkers who initially went door to door to over 2,000 homes inviting people to bible studies wherever they could find space. After a few years they would finally have a church building to call their own and have since continued to faithfully serve the Lord and touch the hearts of many.

Pastor Brian Anderson grew up as pastors kid and like most didn’t want to get into ministry right away. Although he had his own plans, he would find himself being drawn to sharing the gospel. This opened his heart to wanting to be a shepherd as he found great joy in sharing Jesus with others. His words of wisdom are to make the most of our lives by daily following Jesus as the time is short.
