The joy of creating and wearing these floral masterpieces added a special touch to Mountain Fair- celebrating the charm of the great outdoors, the beauty of mountains in the summer time, and the creativity it inspires.

A Ruby River trip has been our 4th tradition for the past 4 years! I look forward to this trip every year, it’s the perfect escape to the summer heat and there is nothing like being on river time!

TEXTURE OBSESSED! Love how this arrangement turned out & the rich earthy color palette 🫶🏽

This long lasting arrangement combines fresh blooms & greenery like bells of Ireland, leucadendron safari sunset, blooming grevelia and super magnum mums, paired with dried botanicals like protea, curly willow, p***y willow, even okra and mushrooms, and made for a really unique arrangement for a restaurant install.

A moment for the HOOP BOUQUET 🫶🏽

When this gorgeous bride came to me with the vision of a hoop bridal bouquet, I was in awe!!

Bringing it to life (without using floral foam) had its challenges, a floor length bouquet with a whole lot of flowers attached to a bamboo hoop…but the result was absolutely stunning!! Even if for only a moment it made its way down the aisle (the weight alone took some strength to hold it one handed 💪). As the bride reached the altar, the bouquet was hung on a shepards hook among the altar flowers in all its glory 🤍

One arrangement, so many pockets of beauty!! I’ve been playing with new design concepts, sustainable mechanics, and contrasting colors. I love the mix of white and neutral colors with hints of dark moody blooms (& burgundy greenery)!

This time last year I began gather & bloom. From designing the website, to hitting the pavement, exploring towns up and down the valley, connecting with local businesses, offering flower workshops, small events, big events, donating flowers to non-profits, daily floral deliveries- I have really been exploring all facets of the floral business. this past year has been a journey, challenging in so many ways and all the while so rewarding, and it has taught me a lot about the direction I want to take Gather & Bloom.

As a previous event & wedding planner, it is in my bones to love and create magic in celebrating life’s most special occasions. Now I can focus on my passions for design & flowers. I have always known my love for art & design- playing with color palettes, textures, natural elements and creating art in the form of flowers. I am constantly inspired by nature and the adventures we embark on in the wild. I also have realized that one of my superpowers is bringing people together, gathering with purpose, creating beautiful floral art.

All this to say, I have a solid understanding of myself and the floral business, and the direction I want to take— SO it is time for me to take a LEAP on this leap day that only comes every 4 years!! It is time to “niche down” grow this business and most importantly trust the process.

G&B will be focusing on small and intimate events for life‘s precious moments and every day occasions. We are artists & create one of a kind designs that are sustainably made and unique to each event.
