Kim joined the Twin Cities chapter board in 2016 on the Education Committee, and has since served as the Chapter Representative and President for the Twin Cities chapter.

Kim’s favorite thing about MNHSWA is working with amazing social workers that support and value each other. She enjoys the quarterly board meeting calls where there is discussion about macro level social work issues and then bringing that information back to the chapters. She is also so proud of the board for providing exclusive education to members at the conferences as well as at the individual chapter level. Kim feels this group has a way of making education fun and engaging and she thinks that is so important!

Kim feels this organization has taught her a lot about the social work profession and what it means to be committed to the social work field. She feels honored to be surrounded by her fellow chapter presidents and board members, as well as the loyal and wonderful members from across the state of Minnesota. Kim is excited to be the new President and looks forward to a fabulous 2024!
