We are hosting a fundraiser at the studio this week. We have open houses on Thursday and Friday and a silent and live auction on Saturday. All proceeds are going our new 501c charity has started that will help further glass education for current and future glass makers. Please come on by and check it out! There will be a ton of great glass artists there all weekend! growthinitiative

Made my wife a glass for Valentine’s Day. Had a little struggle but made it work! ̇ng
Been about 2 years since I had my own bench spot. This time I did it right! Pretty happy about it! We still have a spot avail for a monthly renter if you’re looking for a permanent home to melt some glass!

I made an ice cream spoon for a family member and I think it turned out pretty nice!
We have added our youth summer camps onto our calendar, if you have a child ages 10-17 with a artistic streak or even just likes playing with fire. We have a week of fun for them.

Our Story
Dave took up glassblowing to satisfy his artistic desires. In a few years’ time, he opened Skylab Glass Arts to provide everyone in Golden Valley the same enriching opportunity. We offer all of the raw materials and equipment you’ll need to join our glass blowing community. If you’re starting from square one, we suggest you take one of our beginner classes to find your bearings. Before you know it, you’ll be ready to rent your own space on a monthly basis, taking your creations further and farther than you’d ever imagined.
