Barista Life Hack: eight ounce flavored lattes.

Sometimes you want more espresso flavor, less milkiness, something quick, and a little sweet. This oat milk maple spice latte was so good!

It's just a little chilly in the mornings lately and we're here for it. Put on a flannel, and grab a warm drink with a friend at your favorite cafe!

✨Pumpkin Spice Latte✨ made with real Pumpkin Puree, Cinnamon, Clove, Ginger, and Nutmeg. Sweetened with either Muscovado Brown Sugar or Sugar Free Vanilla.

✨Maple Spice Latte✨ made with Amber Rich Vermont Maple Syrup, Cinnamon, Clove, Ginger and Nutmeg.

We got a shiny new pastry case in Golden that's making us happy. And that's the post I guess.

We bake pastries in-house, on-site, at both locations! Try em all out! They're tasty!

A 'Cortado' is espresso 'cut' with some steamed milk!

Proportions range from shop to shop but we keep ours just under 4oz, so they're a little less milky, more potent, are distinct from a cappuccino, and better reflect at 1:1 espresso:milk ratio.

We like 'em because you can clearly taste the espresso shot, with just a bit of added milk creaminess and microfoam. Try one out, with Levity Blend or our Single Origin Espresso, and your choice of milk next time you're in!

It's July! We're, like, halfway through Summer or something! 🌻☀️🔆

We'll keep our made in-house Summer Peach syrup going for another month or so. And we're making nitro cold brew, kombucha, iced lattes, iced matchas, iced chais and such like crazy!

London Fogs for overcast days! It's a customer favorite that's not on our menu boards.

Earl Grey Tea. Water. Made In-House Vanilla Syrup (Cane Sugar and Vanilla Beans). Steamed Milk. Delicious. 😋

Americano! A happy medium between drip coffee and espresso.

Americanos can potentially "stretch" or “open up” an espresso, so you can taste more of what's going on. It's also a tasty drink that's more concentrated than drip coffee. Hot water, iced water, just a few ounces, or 12 ounces plus four shots. Whatever your preference!

Zebra Wood accents on the espresso machine make the drinks taste better. It's just science.

Customer-provided re-usable cups are the most sustainable way to reduce coffee shop waste AND keep prices down. Check out the graph at the end of the 14,000 cups we’ve saved since implementing our discount program!

More thoughts on single-use:

- The cost of an unbranded paper cup, sleeve and lid currently exceeds $0.20 per drink.

- The plastic lids are not currently recyclable in Colorado, although sometimes the wax-lined paper cups are. (Evidently, Republic Services makes drywall out of them!)

- The sleeves are always re-usable and recyclable!

- 'Compostable’ coffee cups and coffee bags might just be green-washing: they’re non-recyclable, only breakdown in commercial compost facilities (which they rarely end up in, and compost facilities reject a high-volume of PLAs), and might just break down into micro-plastics, rather than fully composting.

(Would love more constructive, expert thoughts on this!)
