For those that don’t know, I’m Stacy the founder and creator here at Mountain Time. In January of this year I suffered the tragic loss of someone very dear to me. Trying to navigate this world without them in it has been my most difficult challenge to date. Grief has proven to be a much more powerful force than I ever understood before. I’ve also been shown that nothing matters in this life more than your tribe and it’s truly remarkable how strong the human connection is.

I’m still here. I’m still making soap. I’m staying present with my family. I’m spending a lot of time in the mountains and I’m incredibly grateful that you’re all still here too. Thank you for your continued support even through my absence. Thank you to my amazing crew who have kept business going smoothly here at the shop.

Regardless of how challenging the journey, I do know we will get through and no matter how much we wish for our reality to be different, we don’t always have a say and we’re sometimes left with only our blessings to count.

If you are grieving, I see you and I’m here to remind you that love is greater than sorrow. It has to be.

We’ve been doing some reflecting lately here at Mountain Time. 🌲🌸🌞

One thing we’re certain of, our has plenty of “Fairy Slippers”…. 🧚🏻‍♀️

We love these early season treks into the mountains. We still bring our skis because we know there are still a few good turns to earn but the real reason we come up high is to haunt these lakes… Putting in our time and patiently waiting for the day the winds are strong enough that they finally break up the ice. Our hope is to see that first brave trout look up and rise. If you want to feel the magic, we suggest you get there early. ☀️🍃🎣
