Our Story
Backyard Goat Yoga is a new local business based in Golden, Colorado. Anddddd you guessed it; yoga class takes place in our backyard! The Bergstrom family adopted two dwarf Nigerian goats in May 2017 when they were eight weeks old. As half brothers, the two ‘kids’ were inseparable. They spend their days grazing the backyard and serving as a live compost. Occasionally, they have an exciting day walking down to Golden City Brewery where they eat pretzels and say hello to beer loving customers!
Our philosophy on goat yoga is simple; we let our goats be goats! Phillip and Kevin love people and enjoy spending time around friends. They love to jump, kick, run, and (of course) eat! When creating Backyard Goat Yoga, we wanted to create a relaxed, private outdoor experience. Our certified yoga instructors will guide you through a class while you enjoy the natural outdoors and good company. Phillip and Kevin can’t wait to meet you!
