13 years ago I went from not having a job to having my own shop. It's been a struggle, it's been hard but at the end of the day... I wouldn't really change it. I've had the opportunity to meet so many people and be a part of their journey!

For someone who tries to keep their head down and focus on work and family there has been a lot of things thrown in the way but I don't get caught up in the drama and keep going and its all because of my amazing clients. You guys give me the determination to keep going no matter what come ups!! Thank you from the core of my being for being RAWESOME and making ELECTRIC what it is!!!

It's a new Era and now I can't wait to make you all a part of my new journey forward.

As per a tradition I started a long time ago...

Leap year gives us an extra day which we can use any way we want... you can learn a new skill, pick up a new hobby or sleep. I have taken the 29th off ever since the shop has been around to take that day to do something to better myself or the community in some way. Sooooo... shop will be closed today and back at it tomorrow. If you don't have any plans for the day, try to do something positive with the extra time ya got!!!!

Just a reminder that we are, in fact, still in the middle of a global pandemic and still operating on Appointment Only! That said, we CAN get "walk-ins" in here and there, provided they are things that we can fit in between our regular appointments. If you're looking to get something super simple, that's "ready to go", text either Tim or I directly and we'll see where we can fit ya in! Piercings work the same way, just text Brook and she can get ya on her schedule! :)

And in personal news, and for those that don't know, my wife and I are having a baby who's due mid February! I am now currently booking in early February and have a few spots left for new work, and then only taking continuing pieces around the due date (so if I get the call I can better drop what I'm doing and head home). If you're looking to get in-progress pieces worked sooner rather than later, get up with me so I can get ya on the schedule!

I wanted to make a post -- since we've been getting messages and calls -- about Friday the 13th. Unfortunately, because there is still a global pandemic, I will not be able to do the Friday the 13th Flash Special at this time. We've been taking COVID guidelines extremely seriously as my wife is pregnant with our first child and immunocompromised, and while I still have to work to feed my family I do not believe it is a good idea to run the Flash Special -- and thus increasing my exposure chances, going from two contact points per day to the often 10+ I would see on a given Friday the 13th -- at this time. We will resume the special once the global pandemic is under control. I am bummed...I love doing the Flash Special as it gives me the opportunity to do some really rad, one-off bangers and see people that aren't normally in for smaller pieces -- but not as bummed as I would be if my wife got sick, putting our baby at risk.

Thank you so much for y'all's continued support and understanding as we try to get to the other side of this global pandemic. WEAR YOUR MASK AND DON'T BE JERKS! And stay rad, True Believers!

So I accidentally ordered WAY too many of these guys. They're a low profile, bezel set, rose cut (disco ball), genuine topaz piece. I have them in all sizes ranging from 2mm-5mm. Honestly I just don't have enough space in my little cubbies for them all!

Alright, finally, we got something to announce!

ELECTRIC TATTOO will be reopening this Friday at 5pm! We are diligently working with our previously-scheduled clients to get them back on the schedule, and can finally start getting some appointment dates for all those fine people that hit us up over these last two months. As such, please bare with us! We will get ya in as soon as possible, for the inky-inks and the stabby-stabs :)

Additionally, the same policies that we had in place prior to the shutdown will be in place when we reopen. They are as follows:

-APPOINTMENT ONLY- Please contact us here, call or text the shop during normal business hours, or (to get in even faster) contact Jae, Tim, or Brook directly, and let us know when you get here!
-Client/Artist Only- In order to limit vector potentiality, we ask that all clients arrive alone for their appointments, in accordance with state guidelines.
-MASK ARE STRONGLY ADVISED- Yo, just wear one, it's cool. We're gonna be wearing them, we are REQUIRED to wear them. Be a bro a wear one, too.
-CARD TRANSACTIONS ONLY- Again, to limit vector potentiality.

All of us here at Electric Tattoo have prided ourselves for the last (almost) 10 years in taking pretty good care of our customers, giving them awesome work and putting smiles on their faces! And right now we want to make sure we can all stay healthy and get past this crisis (and not have to be put out of work again in the case of another spike in cases of this pandemic). Hopefully we've all been pretty good, not being jerks and doing what we are supposed to be doing to flatten the curve and get past this virus, and that's what we will continue to do here at the shop after reopening! Look guys, we just wanna do rad tattoos and awesome piercings, and we have been pacing back and forth for TWO months waiting to get to do them. But, we finally get to SEE YA SOON!
