✨ Bill, Jack, and Naroma Benz stopped by for lunch and ended up sharing something super cool. After discovering that Jack and our very own Jeff Larkin are both descendants of Captain William Driver—the original owner of the "Old Glory" flag—they rushed to grab Jack's book from the car. 🇺🇸

With the book in hand, celebrating this awesome connection became even more special. Jack gifted Jeff a copy, sealing their newfound family ties.

We're so excited to be part of this unique moment and love being a place where such amazing stories and legacies come to light. 🍽️💼

🎉 Early Father’s Day celebrations at Chef's Market! It was a joy to welcome Hal Balthrop and his daughter Caitlin for a special meal. 🍽️

Caitlin, a former culinarian extraordinaire during her high school years here, has always impressed us with her intelligence and remarkable work ethic. We always knew she was destined for great things! 🌟 Now living in Chattanooga with her family, Caitlin continues to shine in a leadership role at the Tennessee Valley Authority, truly a mover and shaker just like her dad!

Hal, the Assistant Director and Chief Engineer at Nashville’s Department of Transportation & Multimodal Infrastructure, has clearly passed on his spirit and dedication to his daughter. 🏙️

Kyle has been a loyal customer with his family since our opening, and Nicole is a frequent visitor, but it was Allison’s first time at our restaurant. She enjoyed her visit so much that she took home a cake to share with her family.

🎤 Elliott McCoy - Now lighting up the stage with the amazing vocal group, The Vogues, known for their hits featured in movies like "Back to the Future"! Before this, Elliott led the acclaimed gospel group Three Bridges for 24 years. What a journey! Fun fact: Elliott is a direct descendant of the McCoys of the famous Hatfields and McCoys feud.

🎧 Rick Sandidge - The man behind Mark Five Records, Rick has been a significant figure in the music industry since 1973, producing and recording icons like James Brown and Aaron Tippin. From starting his own label to running a studio powerhouse, his impact is legendary.

🎵 Roger Holmes - Alongside his wife, Roger runs The Alliance Agency, a cornerstone in gospel music representing top-notch artists and ministers since 1995. Their dedication to integrity and quality has made countless events successful.

Celebrating a Love Story at Chef's Market ❤️

Meet Joanne and John Ed Garrett, our cherished patrons who were raised in Springfield but call Madison home these days. They have graced our lives and restaurant for many years. Married for over 72 years, their journey together has been nothing short of inspiring.

Joanne, once an executive assistant to the chief justice of the Tennessee Supreme Court, dazzled everyone with her remarkable typing speed of 110 words per minute. John Ed, a man of varied and impactful careers, served as a Navy officer and led the HR department for the Davidson County education system, influencing over 10,000 individuals. Even after retirement, he couldn’t resist the thrill of work and joined the HR team at Opryland Hotel alongside Jack Vaughn. Today, he pours his passion into research and writing, living by the mantra that the word "retire" isn't found in the Bible.

Their stories brighten our days, and their presence lights up our restaurant. We are honored and proud to be their favorite dining spot. Here’s to many more years of shared stories and meals together! ✨

Today, we were honored to host two remarkable women at Chef's Market, who have dedicated their lives to enriching the Goodlettsville community. 🌟

📚 Pam Binkley Garrett, the former Chairman of the Metropolitan School Board, completed seven years of devoted service there. Pam has brought significant improvements in educational opportunities for our children. Among many other contributions, she spearheaded the building of Mansker Fort and Station. Her leadership and commitment have left an indelible mark on our community.

🏘️ Ellie Waller is truly a Goodlettsville icon, starting the first antique mall in our town and playing a critical role in securing the first grant for downtown Goodlettsville's development. Her efforts have helped preserve and enhance our community's charm and heritage.

Let's give a big thank you to these two incredible women for their tireless service and contributions to Goodletsville. We are grateful for your impact and it brings a big smile to see you sharing lunch at Chef’s Market.

Kandi Gallaty, a devoted pastor’s wife, speaker, and writer, joined us alongside her best friend, Lori Meador, the artistic soul behind Kazuly Creations Jewelry. Kandi, alongside her husband, Robby,leads Replicate Ministries and is committed to nurturing a deep love for God’s Word in others. Robby is pastor of Longhollow Church. Lori's unique jewelry designs tell a personal story, turning everyday adornments into expressions of identity and love. BTW, we are honored to carry this line.

It was truly special to see these best friends share a meal and laughter, reminding us all of the beautiful connections that food and fellowship can foster. Here’s to more moments like these, filled with friendship and inspiration! 💖

As a former cornerstone of our community, Goodlettsville High School holds fond memories for many, and its legacy includes the incredible people it shaped, like these five amazing educators.
