My middle son turned 4 today!

Just because Mother's Day is over doesn't mean you can't still get mommy and me photos done 🥰

This past week I was contacted by a couple who lost their baby in December 2023 who asked if I would be willing to photograph them releasing a balloon in their daughter's honor on her actual due date 05/03/2024. I of course immediately said yes, because it is a true honor to be trusted with such a sensitive and special moment in someone's life like this and because of the work I do with NILMDTS I never turn down the opportunity to help a grieving family. The night was absolutely beautiful and there was so much love shown for this sweet little girl. Her mother wrote a letter to her and read it out loud and it was heartbreaking, touching, and incredibly moving. That night will forever be a life changing memory for me.

To respect their privacy, I will not be sharing any photos with their faces or personal information but they did however give me permission to share some photos from this session. I want to bring more awareness to infant loss because it is far more common than anyone realizes. Let this be a reminder to everyone to just be kind to others. You never know what the person next to you is going through.
