Here are some ways to prevent skin cancer! Share the knowledge! Send to your loved ones. Just because you have an excess of melanin production doesn’t exempt you!

1️⃣ Wear Broad Spectrum sun protection—SPF 30 or higher. This will protect you from the radiation from UVA/UVB that causes skin cancer.

2️⃣ Wear sun protection for out door activities—long sleeve shirts, long pants, hats, etc.

3️⃣ Avoid direct sun exposure during the times of 11am-4pm.

4️⃣ Reapply your sunscreen, at the least, every 2 hours.
