Earlier this year, a friend asked me to make a memorial ornament using her dad's shirt. I carefully removed a single sleeve to create it, and returned the shirt to her with the ornament. I was so honored to do this for her! I hope it brings the sweetest memories of her dad.

My son has so much respect and admiration for his Law teacher. She has been a great source of encouragement for him over the past couple years, so we thought it fitting to make her a special gift to say thank you.

It's been a busy holiday season, but I came across this in my news feed and was quickly reminded how very difficult this time can be for so many.

My husband's family embrace their Scottish heritage, so when he asked for an ornament to represent them, I just couldn't say no! The tartan was ordered from abroad, and the crest was snagged at this fall's Charleston Scottish Games and Highland Gathering.
I really loved the way this turned out, an ornament we'll be proud to display year round!
