A Dog's Day in Gorham

Thank you all who came out to support us yesterday. It was a blast and a great success.

The winner of the raffle was Missy and we were able to raise $200 for the Limitless Playground Gorham is trying to build for children of all abilities.

Attention all - due to the continued monitoring of the current viruses going around in the dog community, we are going to strongly recommend that you leave your dogs at home for this year's event. While it will be a bummer to not have the dogs in attendance, we look forward to welcoming them back next year.

Don’t forget to come visit our kid’s table over by the North Woods Paws booth for a Scavenger hunt activity and a prize for the kids at the end!!

I bet you didn't know that we will be having a raffle at this year's A Dog's Day in Gorham.

This is just SOME of what you could win.

The raffle is to benefit the Limitless Playground Gorham is raising funds for. All kids deserve to be able to play and we are proud to support that mission.

Raffle tickets will be 1 ticket for $1 or 6 tickets for $5

We are two and a half weeks out from this exciting event! Can't wait to see you all and your fur babies.

The K9 demonstrations will be happening in order of -

1. Berlin Police K9
2. State Police K9
3. Fish and Game K9

I will announce exact times of the demonstrations as we get closer as they are subject to change should they get called away.

All our vendors from last year are returning to our 2nd Annual A Dog's Day in Gorham plus some new vendors!

This event will be held on the Gorham Town Common on September 11th from 10am to 2pm. For this one day only dogs will be allowed on the common.

So bring your friendly furry friends and learn about what services are available to you locally. Bring your p**p bags with you so we can continue to hold this event!

Demonstrations by state and local K9 units will be happening as long as they don't get a call somewhere else.

I'm Karen owner of The Timeless Dog, LLC. I'm a certified professional dog trainer, force free trainer, canine enrichment technician, and I specialize in working with reactive and aggressive dogs.

A Dog's Day in Gorham was born of an idea I had about building a community for dogs. All dogs.

This September 11th 2022 from 10am to 2pm you will be able to come to the Town of Gorham Common to meet local to you dog professionals.

There will be trainers, groomers, pet sitters, veterinarians, treat makers, crafters, rescues and more! Come learn what's available to you and your dogs locally.

We look forward to meeting you. If you have any questions feel free to ask.

And as I always say- Don't forget to tell your dog I said hi!
