IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO SCHEDULE PLEASE FOLLOW THESE INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY and please be aware that this clinic consists of a vet, a tech and a volunteer and our prices reflect this. We do not have a receptionist. Emails and inquiries are answered mostly by the tech when she’s not in surgery so please be patient and keep trying to get scheduled if your first attempt isn’t answered immediately. It’s just as easy to send another email as it is to complain that you haven’t been answered😊

We need specific information to get you scheduled and your appointment will be delayed when we have to ask for more information. Please do not send multiple emails within 7 days. This frustrates Dina and you may never get scheduled🤣.

Please put CLINIC and what you are trying to schedule in the subject line (male kitten, 2 female rabbits, 30 pound male dog)

The following information needs to be in the email:

Your full name address and phone number.

The name of your pet(s), their age and s*x and description/color.

The services you would like to schedule for such as cat spay, vaccines and microchip, rabbit neuter, feral cat neuter. We can add services at the time of checkin but the more information we have the better we can serve you.

Also, if you’re coming here to say you’ve been emailing for months and can’t get an appointment there is probably a reason for it. Emails from 6 months ago are long lost. Please email again and follow directions about emailing again in a week. We are not scheduling dogs over 30 pounds currently. We are not scheduling wellness exams currently. Please make sure you have all the letters correct in the email address. WE WANT TO GET YOU SCHEDULED

It’s $5 a Friday and today we are raising funds for Wobbles dental procedure!

Wobbles came to us a few months ago when his human sadly passed away and there was no one to care for him. Wobbles has “CH” or cerebellar hypoplasia. CH affects the part of the brain that controls movement and balance. Wobbles has a mild case and gets around okay for the most part, he just sometimes is wobbly 🙂

The good news is that Wobbles has a pending adoption but needs a dental procedure first. Dentals are obstacles to adoption and we don’t want Wobbles to miss out on a home. Can you please chip in $5 today to help Wobbles?

This!!! If you do have to wait, be thankful. You don’t want to be the one whose pet they have to rush straight to the back. If they deem your pet safe to wait it means they aren’t critical.

It’s not the most polite topic, but today we’re discussing doggy diarrhea. It’s super common in dogs…just like in people. We don’t call the doctor every time we get diarrhea. Very rarely is it cause for concern in pets either. Most of the time, it’s caused by dietary indiscretions (dogs eating something outside their normal diet, ie. Table scraps, a new food or treats they aren’t used to, or that dead bird they gobbled up on the walk before you could stop them.)
Even seeing a little bit of blood in diarrhea is totally normal. Consider calling the vet or making an appointment if: the diarrhea persists for more than 3 days, if there are large volumes of blood (looks like pooping straight blood), the dog seems generally sick along with the diarrhea (is vomiting, lethargic, etc), or if it’s a puppy under 3 months (we worry more about dehydration in puppies.)

He’s a sweetheart, he just needs to come home ❤️

A waiting list sign-up will be posted soon for those looking to become clients in 2024. If we have any spots open up for the remainder of 2023, we will let everyone know. Current clients may still reach out for services but we do have very limited availability.
