Hi! My name is Scotty Wohlwend and I love sharing delicious coffee with people.

Here are some great behind the scenes shots of my operations taken by the talented this spring.

I started as a home roaster but after outscaling my capacity I now roast at .crack.coffee

I currently roast, package, and label every bag myself, whether it’s a single bag for a single person, or a bunch of 5lb bags for wholesale.

I drink my own coffee pretty much exclusively because it’s my favorite and you can find me brewing about 3 times a day via pour over at home.

Roasted a small batch of an Ethiopia Sidamo Arsi Refisa, grade 3 natural processed coffee for my light roast fans - I have about 6 bags available. Bright and tangy acidity, floral with notes of caramel, peanut, and strawberry.

This delicately crafted espresso blend of South American, Central American, and Indonesian beans has just the right amount of zip, balance, creaminess, nuttiness, and chocolatiness to rival the best espresso’s you’ve tasted. Super creamy, bright citrus notes, toasted peanut (you can smell it when you open the bag) and sweet chocolate notes can be found in this espresso coffee.

Perfect for espressos, lattes, and other concentrated blended drinks, but also makes an excellent pour-over.

I put this together for an event that I had hosted at a couple of years ago and figured that I would share it with anyone that is interested in learning more about tasting coffees. When I first started getting serious about coffee I would take notes in a digital note pad on all the coffees that I had tried, my ratings, and what I liked and didn’t like. It would have been awesome to have something like this at the time.
