The Ozaukee Chorus is a non-profit organization whose purpose is to promote the advancement of choral music education.

Brinn Veenendall
Brinn is a senior at Cedarburg High School and has been a member of the a ca****la women’s group Bella Voce. She has participated in the school’s musicals in both supporting and lead roles. Brinn plans to major in theatre and minor in musical theatre in college.
Meet Hailey Bault
Hailey is a senior at Grafton High School and has participated in the school’s choral programs, the Graftonics a ca****la group as leader and has had lead roles in musicals and Cabaret productions. She has competed in regional and state Solo and Ensemble competitions and has been ranked # 1 many times. Hailey has been accepted in UW-Superior’s vocal performance program.
Meet Bryndyn Schroeder
Bryndyn is a senior at Ozaukee High School in Fredonia, has been a member of the school’s choral groups and has performed in many musicals. He has sung with the Lake Moraine Honors Choir and the Big East Honors Choir in Manitowoc. Bryndyn also plays guitar in the school’s jazz band. He plans to attend Lakeland University in the fall and minor in Music.
Meet Gavin Muller: Gavin is a senior at Port Washington High School. He has participated in the Wisconsin State Solo and Ensemble for three years. School group participation includes Limited Edition a ca****la for two years, Men’s and School Choir all four years and leads in Port’s school musicals. Gavin plans to study Theatre Performance and Music Production in college.

2022 Scholarship winner: Amanda is a senior at Homestead High School and has participated in the school’s choral program and the Milwaukee Children’s Choir as a section leader. She has been a state qualifier for Solo & Ensemble. Amanda plans to continue her education at Colorado State University for biomedical sciences. She also plans to join the university chorus.

We are pleased to announce the 2021 winners of the Ozaukee Chorus Scholarships! The students are from high schools in Ozaukee County.

Aaron Carlson of Cedarburg High School, Michael Seybold of Grafton High School, Audrey Ferrero of Homestead High School, Shannon Knowski of Port Washington High School and Ann Knetter of Northern Ozaukee High School.
Their biographies and a link to a video performance for each scholarship recipient are below.
Aaron Carlson:
Aaron is a senior at Cedarburg High School and has been a member of the Concert Choir and A Capella group and participated in the school's musicals. He has been involved in both Solo & Ensemble at the district and state levels and was a member of the Wisconsin State Honors Choir as a junior. Aaron has auditioned at three Universities and plans to minor in Music.

Michael Seybold:
Michael is a senior at Grafton High School and has participated in the school's choral programs, the Graftonix A Capella group as student director and has had lead roles in musicals. He has been a state qualifier in Solo & Ensemble Festivals both vocally and instrumentally. Michael plans to continue his education at DePaul University for Music Education and Composition.

Audrey Ferrero:
Audrey is a senior at Homestead High School in Mequon and is a member of the school's Highlander, Tartan and Treble Choirs. She has received state honors in the Wisconsin School Music Association Treble Choir. Audrey plans to continue her education by majoring in Music Education with an emphasis in choir and voice.

Shannon Knowski:
Shannon is a senior at Port Washington High School and has been involved in the school's choral program for four years. She has participated in the Wisconsin state solo & ensemble and performed at the International Championship of High School A Capella. Shannon plans to attend Northern Michigan University to study Musical Theatre.

Ann Knetter:
Ann is a senior at Northern Ozaukee High School in Fredonia and has been a member of the school's A Capella group, sung in Solo & Ensemble Festivals and performed in the school's musicals. Her passion is musical performance which she hopes to continue in college and is still undecided on where she will attend.
