This young lady received the golden buzzer with her rendition of the song ‘Tomorrow’ sending her straight to the semi-finals round.
At the semi-finals she sang Frank Sinatra’s ‘My Way’, but made it her ‘way’.
We absolutely love this rendition and hope you do to.
For inquiring minds, she made it to the finals after this performance where she sang ‘Somewhere over the rainbow’ and WON.
Congratulations to this talented lady! Well deserved!

JM is the current CEO and co-owner of Clear Path Home Care, which has six offices in Texas and one office in Fort Collins, Colorado.
JM was born in San Antonio, Texas and was raised in Del Rio, Texas. In 1999, he graduated from the University of Houston with a B.S. in Information Systems Technology. In 2003, he was accepted into the Post Graduate program at the University of Texas at San Antonio and in 2006 he graduated with a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in International Business. Relationships and a need to care for his father inspired him to continue his entrepreneurial journey to start Clear Path Home Care. Clear Path Home Care was established in 2013 in Austin, Texas. Soon after, he established a partnership with Michele Woodward, and they moved the business to Breckenridge in 2014; they were married that same year.
Clear Path provided care for JM’s father for five years until his passing in 2021. Additionally, Clear Path also cares for Michele’s parents who live with them in a built-on suite. JM is a firm believer in his statement that “Aging in place can be done successfully and effectively. Statistics show if home care is part of the healthcare continuum for our seniors, the results are great. They are happier because they are where they wish to be, they see their physicians more regularly and they stay on their prescribed medications properly.”
Professionally, JM served on the Stephens Memorial Hospital Board for 4 years in Breckenridge, Texas. In this capacity, he and fellow board members navigated the struggles for rural hospitals in Texas to stay viable and efficient in their care.
JM is a current member of the Texas Association for Home Care and Hospice (TAHCH), where he previously served on the governmental affairs committee. As members of the Home Care Association of America (HCAOA), JM and his executive team routinely lobby in Washington D.C. to help push legislation benefiting the elderly and veterans with respect to their rights and benefits to age in place successfully. His advocacy within the HCAOA was instrumental in forming the Texas state chapter in 2024.
Since 2022, JM has been an active member of the HomeCareCEO Mastermind Forum. This forum is a place where home care owners and C-suite executives from leading companies come together and connect with one another to share information, solve problems, and develop strategies for growth.
In 2023, Clear Path Home Care received the Houston Cougar Alumni Top 100 Cougar owned business award ranking number 8 of 100 on the list. JM affirms “It has been the professional joy of my career to help lead this ever-growing home care business with the most talented group of professionals in the business. It starts with our amazing caregivers. The work they do on behalf of our clients is just incredible and our goal as a company has been and will always be to make caregiving a profession not just a job.”
As the CEO and visionary for Clear Path Home Care, JM understands that leading his company successfully is a process. His leadership thrives on embracing challenges, seeking feedback, fostering connections, and cultivating understanding in an ever-evolving industry. His dedication and passion for Clear Path clients and team members is guided by his talent to impact outcomes and leading groups of people to work together to accomplish what they could not do working individually.

A BIG thank you to Michele Woodward Simmonds for all her hard work and dedication. She is a visionary with a mission and we are happy she chose Granbury, TX as home.
If you haven’t already met Michele, you’ll see her around The Granbury Square or the Granbury Historic Downtown soon enough.
Proud to know you, Michele!
Michele Woodward Simmonds was born and raised in Hamilton, TX where she graduated high school. Michele’s strong family legacy in education led Michele to achieve her Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license from Weatherford College and her B.S. in Psychology from Tarleton State University.
Following her time in higher education, Michele gained valuable experience several health care settings including hospitals, home health, hospice, and Alzheimer/Dementia communities. Her experience in these areas ignited a passion for helping others and advocating for quality healthcare.
In 2013, Michele and her husband, JM, started Clear Path Home Care in Breckenridge, TX. Michele has spearheaded the growth of Clear Path Home Care, a personal care assistance company, to achieve licensing in all 254 counties in Texas. Michele's hard work, establishment of strong teams, and community collaborations have grown Clear Path to open 7 offices across Texas and plans to expand into Colorado.
Michele has led Clear Path to recognition by the U.S. Secretary of Defense as a Patriotic Employer because the company supports the hiring of National Guard and Reserve forces while allowing them to continue to serve our nation.
With Michele’s leadership, Clear Path Home Care is a proud member of the Home Care Association of America (HCAOA). Michele has served on the Private Pay committee for TAHCH for 4 years. Starting in August 2023, Michele began serving as the inaugural chairperson for the newly established Texas Chapter of HCAOA. Michele routinely travels to Washington D.C. to lobby on behalf of the home care industry, caregivers, and veterans to ensure our country continues to protect and serve the rights of the elderly to age in place successfully. As the new HCAOA Chairperson, Michele’s goal will be to continue to grow the Texas chapter in order to achieve a stronger voice for our elderly in Washington D.C. and Austin.
Michele finds strength in her family and wears her love and compassion for serving seniors on her sleeve. Michele is a visionary with intense purposeful energy for growing Clear Path Home Care. Her leadership, passion, big picture vision, and drive will put Clear Path at the forefront of innovation in the home care industry. 💚💙
