“On February 14, Leigh Sherwood and her son, Cole Sherwood, were in an automobile accident near Eloy, AZ. Both have suffered serious injuries and will face a long road to recovery.

Yesterday, during the 2024 Western Horseman Sunshine Classic Legacy #10.5 awards ceremony, Tammy Ellerman won a Heel-O-Matic Drifter and decided to put it up for auction for those in attendance in support of raising money for the Sherwood family. Between Brand Smith, Barrie Smith and Zane Williams they were able to raise over $3,100 that will be donated to the family.

Please keep this wonderful family who has given so much to the roping/rodeo communities in both Arizona and Idaho in your prayers.”
