My wonderful neighbor made this beautiful dish for me the other day it was so thoughtful I just didn't feel like cooking.
I really hope everyone has been enjoying this weather it's been amazing today's dinner Alfredo Chicken Simple fattening but good on active days

Dinner yesterday Strawberries, Blackberries, Avacado, and Balsamic Glaze... Simple but perfect Avacado brings the fat that works so well with everything Balsamic was just an extra wow I hope you all try it!
Well I was hoping to have good news for all of you, but unfortunately I think I'll have to continue to keep looking.. I'm really disappointed but that's the way things go.... I hope you all had a beautiful Easter

My Grandpa told me a story a long time ago. He grew up on a ranch and before World War 2 he never knew what Italian food was so when he went off to war he stated...
When I was fighting in Africa under General Patton we moved so fast sometimes we'd have powdered eggs without the water and other times water without the powdered eggs... After taking Africa pushing the Germans out he ended up on the shores of Sicily where he found himself fighting the Germans to take a mountain top village away from the Germans. As they fought they completely decimated the village. My Grandpa was one of the 1st to the top and as he came up he seen all these older people coming out of the ruble crying clapping and hugging him. Then he seen the pretty girl as she came out of a destroyed building with pots and pans and quickly started setting everything up. As the day went on my Grandpa tried hard to understand the young woman I guess they did the best they could as the day went on the smell of the food was so wonderful my Grandpa couldn't wait to eat it. As he did it was the best food he had ever eaten. The next morning orders to take the next location came in and he was gone.. He said throughout the war all he thought about was the pretty girl and the food. So after the war ended my Grandpa went back to that little mountain village and married the girl and brought her home... That was my Grandma... they were happily married for 60 years.
My Grandmother's food was always a secret and the only ones to ever learn her foods was my Mother then as I grew up I was always fascinated with our foods I learned and now my Mother and I are the last to know the old Sicilian ways of cooking...
I know photos don't do justice here but I said I would post. This was absolutely amazing I now have perfected my own recipe for lasagna
So today I made my own Italian sausage I'm going to use some of it to make a Lasagna today. Photos soon to come. Hope you all have a great day

Good morning everyone so this is the Mott Culinary Clubs Winter Holiday Dinner menu at the bottom is a link to purchase if anyone is interested as you see my Pasta is on here however please note I will be cooking this but not serving it the young people at the club will package and sell it cold it will be up to you to heat it. I promise it will be wonderful remember to cook it slow and low always turning it! Too much heat it will taste bad!!! So my Mom inspired me with a salad I came up with my own twist with salad and sandwiches
This was really an amazing dish simple base of all organic Romaine Lettuce, Mixed greens, Avacado, Cherry tomatoes,Orange Bell Pepper, Hard Boiled eggs, Marinated Chicken, with a very special Cumin Dressing Oh I orgot. The tri colored nacho chip strips...
Ok so I felt really embarrassed about the eggs I posted yesterday even though they were amazing they really didn't look good so I had to justify myself today on a dish that not only looks good but tasted even better!
