EOC students from Lakota, Larimore, and Grand Forks Community High School made the trek to Devils Lake to enjoy yesterday. The students got to pick the track of their choice-Business, Health and Human Services, Tech, or Ag and learned all about careers and degrees offered at LRSC. North Dakota Dollars for Scholars is accepting scholarship applications from ND high school seniors and current college students starting January 1, 2023. Over $95,000 in scholarships will be awarded, ranging from $600 to $2,500 each for the 2023-24 academic year. Every student who graduated from or will graduate from a North Dakota high school can apply, even if their high school doesn’t have a local chapter.
The application deadline for all North Dakota Dollars for Scholars scholarships is April 1, 2023. Scholarship details and the online application are available at northdakota.dollarsforscholars.org. To apply, students must create or update a profile in the online student center. This profile allows students to be matched to scholarships based on their personal information. Students will also be able to use this profile to find future opportunities from their local chapter if the high school they graduated from has a local chapter, North Dakota Dollars for Scholars, and the national organization.

Spent the day at with the awesome kids from Lakota. We toured campus, went to the occupational fair and visited with college reps. We ended the day with some R&R.
