The 2024-25 school year is nearly here! Thanks to the many mentors who attended last night's Back-To-School Kickoff! It was so good to see you, to share a meal and a game, and to look forward to the year with excitement and anticipation together. We particularly appreciated the advice and encouragement from our awesome panel of recently graduated mentees!
We've been busy! This summer, 78 new mentors completed training so that they're ready to meet their mentees at the beginning of the school year. Welcome to the Team!
Attention train enthusiasts: The school year is fast approaching, and we want to get "Knox" matched up quickly! If you or someone you know would be a good mentor for him, please let us know!
Knox is a seventh-grader in south Lincoln. He is friendly and silly and has lots of energy. He is great at forming relationships with adults and would really benefit from having a consistent, caring adult male in his life. Knox hopes to spend his mentoring time playing games, drawing, building Lego, and kicking around a soccer ball. He loves all things railroad and someday hopes to become a train conductor.

Missed You at Pride!
Last year, TeamMates of Lincoln celebrated conversations with 44 caring adults at Star City Pride 2023. Five of them became mentors. Besides being drenched, we were sad we missed the chance to build more relationships at this year's Star City Pride Events festival.
Want to reach out to your TeamMate over summer break? Feel free to send a postcard, note, or digital message to the TeamMates office, and we will be happy to pass it along!
The Star City Pride festival got off to a great start yesterday before the storms rolled in. Thanks to everyone who stopped by our booth to chat and a big thank you to those who helped us hold our tent down in the rain!
