So… we have moved, once again! We are now in the old Christopher and Banks location in the Conestoga Mall. Right across the hall from our old location on the south end. To be clear, this was our best option to stay open while searching for a new spot. We decided not to paint and repeat all of the work we put into the other location, since we were only there for 3 months and this will be temporary. Over the last while, so many things have happened out of our control. We just keep rolling with the punches and get back up every time we get knocked down. We want to thank everyone for your continued support and prayers. We are guaranteed this spot until the first of next year. In the meantime we will be searching for a permanent location and will notify everyone when that happens. As for now you can still shop from us here in Grand Island at the Conestoga Mall.

Store will be closed today 1-15-23.
We finally just got some contact and new information from the company that which just purchased the mall that we have to be out of our brand new space come April 1st YES of this year. (That is only 3 months and 28 days in that space) (Only 2 1/2 months from now) Not because that part of the mall is being worked on anytime soon but because there is a National tenant that gets priority over my space which took a lot of time to paint, update, and not to mention our time into the space. Let me remind you there are PLENTY OF SPACES AVAILABLE FOR THE TENANTS ON THE NORTH SIDE THAT HAVE TO MOVE DOWN TO THE SOUTH SIDE to choose from. I believe it’s bc we updated which I guess is a compliment. But now we are left a big decision once again. They did give us the option to move across the hall which would would need lots of love (TLC) as the other one. So do all that work again with all the unknowns? Find a new space in 2 and a half months and make it what we want? So with that said we are taking the day to try to get some things put together on our next steps on this adventure. I will explain more in the future as we should have more answers next week.
My biggest issue here is this doesn’t just effect Aaron and I, more importantly it effects our 3 little boys that have put a lot of heart and soul into this business as we have.
Please pray for my family in these next coming weeks because we need all the prayers to make the right next move!💙💙💙🙏
Pics below when we we were moving our from NP last pic is how the store turned out looking. (Luckily we caught wind early enough that we did not do even the 10th of the remodeling that we planned on) blessed for that.
And with all that said I would like to send a huge thank you out to all of the messages of people trying to find me spaces within GI and surrounding areas all the way to the Lincoln area! What’s meant to be will be I guess😉

Family, First and Foremost
Brittany’s is a family owned and operated business in North Platte, Ne. We moved here in 2012, about 9 months after Brittany became manager of Vanity in N.P. Brittany drove from Kearney to North Platte 5 to 6 days a week while pregnant with Noah! He was born 11 days after we moved to town. Kahl is on the left, Luke on the right. These boys love football, and getting on each others nerves at times, like most siblings. They all have such big hearts. We will never forget when they where playing football in the basement, and boys being boys, Luke hit his head and it was bleeding. They came running upstairs and little Noah is right behind him crying and says, “did I kill you?” Needless to say there is never a dull moment in our family!
The boys are just as much a part of this store as we are. Whether at the store, home, on vacation, or just driving in the car, we are always working and they are right there with us every step of the way.
Brittany was with Vanity for 12 years, when the company closed its doors. Like losing a best friend, she was devastated. Customers would come in on those last days and say, “why don't you open your own store?” So she went to Aaron and told him, his response, “you mean the same store I have been telling you to open for 8 years now?” With a little luck, late and sleepless nights, and a lot of hard work, here we are! The day we opened, we put every last dollar we had into the register for change. Two of our many mottos are, “no risk, no reward,” and “you've gotta spend money to make money.”
We are dedicated to great customer service, and quality clothing and products. We carry as much Made in the U.S.A. product as possible, and believe in helping build a strong community, and shopping local every chance we get, even if it costs a little more. Part of every dollar we spend in our community stays in the community. Not one cent stays if it is spent elsewhere. We want to thank all of our customers, past, present and future. Without your overwhelming support, this all would not even be possible!
