After 21 years of supporting our deployed military it is with a taste of bittersweet that we say good bye to Operation Interdependence. We are happy that our military is getting support from so many organizations that our program is no longer needed. We want to thank our donors, sponsors, volunteers and all who have supported us in our “mission”. Please continue to support our military in the way that works best for you.
Tooooooooooooo early for St. Patty's day and Easter??????????
Not really OI needs your notes now to pack for our deployed.
Mark your calendars now for an event coming up March 30th. The GEM Club (pre-med students) are hosting Bingo at VFW 1247 from 1 to 3 pm . You will be playing for prizes. Dessert, tea will be supplied. All funds will go to help OI support our deployed military. Come show your support for these college kids and for our military. OI volunteers will also be on hand.
MORE to follow as I get information from them.
You can sign up ahead of time to make sure you have a seat available starting March 1st.
Tomorrow is red Friday will you be wearing red?
So so true. A commander just let me know that there's many Soldiers in his unit that get nothing from home. The notes let them know that a stranger took the time to thank them and they smile. You can put that smile on one troops face with a quick handwritten note. Thank you

in 1966, the TV series BATMAN premiered featuring Cesar Romero as The Joker. During WWII, Romero served in the U.S. Coast Guard aboard the attack transport USS Cavalier (APA-37), seeing action during the invasions of Tinian and Saipan.
The time for Valentines if now over. OI needs St. Patty's and Easter. Better yet help us with our need of 1,250 notes each month by just writing a thank you or thinking of you note. It only takes a moment of your time, BUT can put a SMILE on the face of a Solider that DOESN'T get any mail from home. Put your first name, city, state. No street addresses, emails or FB connections
They can be dropped off at any of the 3 Randy's Southside Diners, Fireplace West, the Moose Lodge, or Overhead Door Co. of Grand Junction. Can't make it out?? Not near any of these places, message OI for a pickup.
You say this is to early? No not if you are going to write a note for our troops. They are being packed this month for shipment the first of February
