Help plan Step Forward to Cure TSC events in 2025!

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of those affected by tuberous sclerosis complex (TSC)? We're looking for volunteers to join the 2025 Step Forward to Cure TSC National Planning Committee!

This is the largest event dedicated to finding a cure for TSC. Over the past 22 years, our community, volunteers, and partners have raised over $20 million! In 2025, we’re excited to host 16 in-person walks across the country, with virtual participants joining us to raise awareness for TSC.

As part of the committee, you’ll help plan these amazing events, uniting thousands of people in support of groundbreaking research and vital programs.

Join the Herscot Center for Tuberous Sclerosis Complex for a virtual conference about TAND (TSC Associated Neuropsychiatric Disorders) on Saturday, October 5, 2024 at 1:00 pm EST.

Conference participants will hear featured speaker: Dr. Robert Doyle, the Herscot Center's Psychiatrist, speak about TAND, along with other members of the Herscot Center who will discuss TAND and current MGH TAND research projects.

Now Announcing the Steven Sparagana Legacy Fund!

Dr. Steven Sparagana’s dedication and pioneering work have been instrumental in advancing tuberous sclerosis complex (TSC) research and improving the lives of countless individuals and families affected by this disease. He has served proudly as the TSC Clinic Director at Scottish Rite for Children in Dallas, Texas for the past 24 years and helped generations of families. Dr. Sparagana and his team have participated in pivotal clinical trials leading to FDA-approved drugs for TSC. He has also served for more than two decades on the TSC Alliance Professional Advisory Board.

In recognition of Dr. Sparagana’s extraordinary contributions and his upcoming retirement, we are proud to announce the creation of the Steven Sparagana Legacy Fund. This fund is dedicated to ensuring that Dr. Sparagana’s groundbreaking work and visionary leadership will continue to drive progress in TSC research and patient care for many years to come.
