Blendo 7pc pitcher and tumbler set made by the West Virginia Specialty Glass Company in the 1950s. Flawless and even more spectacular in person!

Custard glass is a creamy pale yellow opaque glass made primarily in America, circa 1895-1910 then again as kitchen glassware, circa 1930-1950s. The yellowish color of custard glass is created by uranium oxide in the formula. This ingredient makes custard fluoresce under long wave black light.

The Fenton Art Glass Company continued to produce custard glass until around 1980. This 1972 Fenton Persian Medallion custard glass basket and 1972 Fenton Paneled Daisy footed candy dish will join the Booth 66 collection tomorrow.
