Grand Rapids track and field team returns home after impressive showing in AAU Junior Olympics Tone Up! Elite Track Club notches five medalists and All-Americans, including its fifth-place 4x100 relay team that clocked a personal best 51.20 seconds.

Friendly reminder the first day of conditioning will begin on Monday, October 2nd, at -730pm at Ottawa Hills. We'll meet at the track for warm-up (unless it's an increment weather then we start inside Ottawa hills), and we finish in the weightroom each day. Conditioning is 4 days a week and is highly recommended for those who are not currently in a school fall sport!

Running for success: Grand Rapids nonprofit supports youth on and off the track Tone Up! Elite Track Club has become a place for kids to have fun with track and develop lasting friendships.

Please send words of encouragement as our very own Tone Up! Elite crew travel to Ypsilanti for AAU Regionals today and tomorrow. Leave it all on the track!

Due to the air quality advisory, practice will be inside at Ottawa Hills. Same drill as yesterday. Practice ends at 7:45. This is for 13 and up only.

Due to the current Air Quality Alert, for the safety of our athletes and coaches practice will be moved indoors to Ottawa Hills High. Please meet at the southeast entrance at the gym doors. Plan on practice from 6-7:30pm. Thanks.

Practice WILL be held today rain or shine unless SEVERE storms with lighting from 6-8pm at EGR. We expect all athletes there, please prepare for the weather.

Eastown Cereal Cafe is at it AGAIN! Their food truck will be at Food Truck Fridays at Riverside Park from 4-9PM. Go support Tone Up! Alum Taylor Kyle's business and support the track team. Ten percent of the sale proceeds will be donated to the track club.

Athletes/Parents please be aware with lite showers in the forecast that we will still have practice, only cancelling for severe thunderstorms and/or lightning. Please dress for the weather and as always stay on top of communication sent out. See everyone today at Houseman Field.
