New Community Engage

What a fantastic weekend of Fundraising with our annual Carwash and flower sale at NCC. We started with approximately 280 plants and baskets to sell and were down to about 15.
If you would like one these that are left they are $20 each and the funds go to our mission trip this summer!! Thanks to our families, friends and the community of and around New Community for all the support. Special shoutout to Brad Pylman and Pylman Power for lending a helping hand for hauling these flowers which came from Ludemas Floral and Garden. Two great companies to work with!! God is so good!

Attention members of New Community Church, as well as any friends that read this. After our weekend flower sale and Carwash was somewhat effected by the wet cloudy weather we still have about 55 hanging baskets ($20) as well as a few perennials($10) left that we need sell. If anyone is interested in some please send me message on messeeenger or text/call me. Maybe with a extra donation to the youth I’ll deliver them to where you need or want them!!

My name is Logan Duimstra I am a Senior at Grand Rapids Christian High. I am going to take a gap year and work at Great Lakes Landscape Supply in the fall. In January I will be participating in YWAM, Youth with a Mission, out of Kona, Hawaii. My favorite verse is John 3:16, favorite youth group event was Alaska Mission trip. Being able to grow closer to friends and the Lord. I want to thank my family and friends for shaping me to be who I am today

My name is Annaliese Conner and I am a senior at Wellspring Preparatory High School. I plan on going to Vanguard University of Southern California in the fall. My favorite youth group memory is the cupcake war that Liv and I started during the Halloween party. My favorite bible verse is “you take what the enemy meant for evil and you turn it for good.” I want to thank my grandma for inspiring me to become a therapist and to love others with open arms.

My name is Malachi Giese, and I'm a senior at Wellspring Prep. I plan on attending GRCC in the fall. My personal favorite memory is when I cut my foot in Tennessee, causing me, Josiah, and Caleb to sit in a waiting room for 3 hours, and then after getting into a room, hearing the legitimate "I am going to die soon" screams of the guy next door having a heart attack. It was scary, and will forever stay in my memory. My favorite bible verse is Malachi 1:1, because I think choosing a favorite bible verse is dumb. I want to thank my family because they are so supportive and help me whenever I need it, and Robin Kollar, Abigail Monarrez, and Maxine Bufkin, because if it wasn't for them, I may not be here writing this in the first place.

My name is Abigail Estrella Monarrez. I am a senior at Sparta High School. I plan on finishing my associates degree at GRCC in the fall and then going to university in 2024 for my bachelors degree in medical science.
My favorite Youth Group memory is when we all went swimming in the Bluewater Hole in Tennessee.
My favorite Bible verse, which I have tattooed on my arm, is Matthew 6 25 through 34.
I want to thank my professors for pushing me to be the best student I can be and pushing me to work harder. I also want to thank my mom and my grandparents for raising me to have a good work ethic.

Taste of New Community

We finished up yesterday with laser tag while some of the students went horseback riding. The students also enjoyed some open gym, chaos debate (which we won!) and the mafia game!The youth and leaders have had a fun filled weekend growing as a group as well as learning how to live out an intentional life in relationship with Christ!
