ITS FINALLY ACTUALLY HAPPENING! And this is not even a you-know-what-joke cause I would never.

At long last, The Campfire Oracle is ready for Kickstarter! This has been a labor of love for nearly two years and Tara Bryant and I are ECSTATIC to announce our project is LIVE.

We made it.

Pisces, and with it the Zodiacal year, has come to its divine ending. Through the last 12 months we’ve gone on a collective energetic journey to understand the seasons of life and our ability to fall into timing with the earth, as all living things do. Pisces was a time of reflection, dreaming, and intuition.

Oftentimes confusing emotions surface and can make us want to run from the realities of our lives but we remain present and aware. Now the Sun has moved into the bold, transformative, and initiatory energy of Aries. The guidance and downloads we had during Pisces are ready to be implemented. Collectively, the world begins to wake up and many of us find a renewed passion and energy.

This particular Aries season is especially potent as we have a total eclipse on April 8th and Jupiter goes conjunction with Uranus on the April 20th (the first day of Ta**us season)... PLUS a Mercury Retrograde for good measure. It’s a time of BIG energy and new beginnings. The intentions and devotions we set now will manifest for the year to come. Make them big and beautiful!

I AM

The dominant phrase for Aries natives is “I am”. Aries rules over identity and self, as well as over the First House. They are known for being self-centered and temperamental, but this doesn’t mean they have to take it to the toxic extremes. They are emboldened with emotional and fiery energy.

In fact, the other signs can learn a lot from Aries' willingness to speak up for themselves, hold a boundary, and give a voice to the voiceless. They are the epitome of warrior energy and while, yes, everything can be taken to the extreme, our balanced Aries are simply setting the standard for how they deserve to be treated.

As the first cardinal sign and the one to kick off the zodiacal year, Aries are all about beginnings.

This is where their impulsive characteristics come in. Aries are always beginning the next great project and if they see something that tickles their fancy more than what they are currently working on? Well, they’ll be off to find the next great adventure without so much as a sidelong glance.

Their strengths are in their leadership qualities and creative ideas. I like to say that if someone is thinking about planning something, likely an Aries has already started it.

Where they may experience lack and challenges, however, is in their follow through. Because they suffer from Sparkly Item Syndrome, they are well known for abandoning even the greatest projects so that they can chase down the next. They’re also known for their hot tempers, but our Aries natives are quick burners, as we’ve established. They aren’t grudge holders and usually after exercising their temper, they are off to the next.

In one of our coaching sessions, I was crying after an autistic meltdown and asked Laureen: “How do people learn emotional regulation? How can I get out of the red without losing it? My kids shouldn’t have to see this.”

She shook her head. “Emotional regulation is not getting out of the red. It’s not getting in the red and if your kids are autistic, this will be apart of their life. Teach them about the red.”

My brain works best with tools and analogies (you probably know this by now 😂). One of the daily ones for me is Color Gauge.

Most people start their day at a yellow. A stressful morning miiiiight be enough to push them into an orange but they have wiggle room. it takes a lot to overheat a NT brain! They’ve got a great ventilation system in there.

Me, however? I start my day at a high orange. It’s a lot easier for me to get pushed into a meltdown. Clutter, loud noises, feeling rushed? All context that shoves me closer to a system meltdown. I wake up stressed, not refreshed.

How do I USE this to help? I use color to communicate my system needs to my family!! Every. Day. EVERY DAY! All day. Several times a day.

It’s not their responsibility to make sure I stay at a yellow. But if I’m at an orange and struggling, if they have space to help, they can. Or they can know I’m trying to keep too much going and I can’t take on another. It helps 🥹

My codes:

💚- This is peace, bliss, and usually medicated. EXCEPTIONALLY hard for me to get to. This is when nothing is stressing me out presently and my body is calm.
💛- Regulated, I’m okay! Things are running as they should! (This is the goal!)
🧡 - Overworking. There is too much input, not enough output and communication is breaking down for me. I need help, time, or tools to get back down to a yellow
❤️- Meltdown. All system shutdown, crying, screaming, hitting myself, clawing at my skin, overwhelm. 🫂

This tool is for YOU! I hope you add it your toolkit and use it to communicate when you can’t.

It’s made a massive difference for my family so I can share where I’m at in healthy ways, avoid the red, and not leave others guessing.

What is a Soul Star Reading?

The Queen of Swords is aptly named because while she is beautiful, she can also be lethal. This is the LAST Queen I'd want to be on the bad side of because with a silver tongue and a mind that is unparalleled in wit and logic... you're sure not to last long.

When the QoS appears its time to invoke clear thinking and seek clarity. Laureen possesses all the wonderful qualities of this queen as she has the most incredible way of slicing through the baggage and stories I bring to the table to show me the truths buried inside.

The Queen of Swords is ruled by logic (and with Laureens Gemini Moon, but of course) and often asks those around her to rise to higher perspectives to get the answers they need.

The Queens of Tarot rule over the creation of their suit. And the first character that came to mind when I thought of my sweet friend, Chanda, was the QoP.

Though her chart is straight up FLOODED with water, I think of it like a symbiotic relationship. That water in her astro chart feeds her earth heart; her virgo moon.

She is earthen energy to me. Moss and mushys at the edge of the forest. She is fed sunshine and soil and she FLOURISHES! She knows when her roots need to stretch and when they need rest. Her energy always feels like a cozy cat who found a sun spot and wants to linger an extra moment quietly and Morgana help the soul who wants to move her. Let her rest. She deserves it. She works harder than any other queen as the QoP but she's not flashy about it. She's not in for the glory; just for a job well done!

Whatever is lucky enough to receive her attention, she pours herself into it. Whether it's nurturing seedlings, sowing beautiful words, or inspiring younglings as a children's librarian... this wonderful human takes her throne as the Queen of Pentacles in my life.

Welcome to a new little series where I draw my friends as the Tarot energy they are in my life.

That makes me, you guessed it, The Fool. We'll get around to me drawing myself in all my foolish glory another time, until then we can meet some of the Main Witches in my life.

First up: The High Priestess // Stephanie H
The Story:

Back in March of 2021 I was in a large group of mystical entrepreneurs and an opportunity to channel a portrait of someone came across my table. I was immediately intrigued but had absolutely idea how/what/why/wtf I was gonna do.

So as I was forming the offer, I ran over to this group and connected with many strangers who not only helped me frame it in a way that felt good and honored my skill level but then also wanted to BUY a portrait from me!

Stephanie was the second person to be illustrated for The Modern Divinity Oracle Deck. And now two years later, by some divine cosmic intervention and the sweetest friendship of our boys, I've found a kickass friend who I thank the Universe for daily.

And as this project was forming in my mind, I couldn't help but place Steph in her role as the High Priestess. Not only is she passionate about breaking the stigma around using flower but she's an incredible sage and guide.

In her work as a healer and mystic, she offers divine guidance and balance to those she works with and I felt like her throne was exactly seated in the mysterious ways of the High Priestess.

Plus... I mean... PUN!!! 🤣

If you see the High Priestess in your readings, what message are you usually receiving?

For me, it's a reminder to trust my intuition. I already know the way and if I can only stop trying to make sense of shapes in the haze and instead just allow myself to open to divine possibility and intervention... magic happens.

🌚V. IMPORTANT ASTRO NEWS: 🌝

Ready for my rambling? Here we go!

Today Pluto enters Aquarius It’s the first time in over 200 years we’ve had this transit.

Let’s scale back.

Pluto covers birth, transformation, death. The energy he brings to our charts asks for surrender of the old so we can embrace the new. It’s the cracking of a foundation so that new life can grow through . It’s a catalyst. It’s the point of death and the invitation into the After.

For the last 15 years, since 2008 and the financial crisis, Pluto has been in Capricorn. (Except for a brief retrograde which he always does after a major sign transit).

Capricorn is restrictive energy. It’s disciplined and conservative. It’s tenacious and ambitious. Success, drive, hard work… all of the things Caps thrive at.

And our collective consciousness has been grappling with Pluto visiting Capricorn… but at LAST!

Today he moves. This is a massive astrological transit. Pluto has an odd orbit. It’s more oval and as such, he doesn’t visit the signs for the same number of years like his buddies. He can stay in a sign from 12-28 years so when he changes signs it’s HUGE!

There will only be a few Pluto transits in our life that are this significant. I’m 34 and this only be the 4th sign Pluto visits in my life versus a planet like Jupiter that changes sign every year or the Sun who moves signs every month.

Today Pluto moves to Aquarius, the sign of technology, progression, humanitarianism, activism, and friendship. She is The Water Bearer, the vessel through which spirituality, emotion, and creation is given to the world.

LIKE AHHHHH!!!!!

Pluto will, eventually, have a regression this summer and move back into Cap briefly. After he goes direct again in about 7 months, he will move into Aquarius for the next 20 year cycle.

What can we expect during this time?

You may remember The Great Conjuction in 2020, when Saturn and Jupiter kissed in the night sky. That transit also occurred at the end of the Middle Ages when we were ushered into the Renaissance. And it’s because the conviction happened as Saturn was moving into Aquarius. And Pluto in Aquarius is the HEIGHT of our technological renaissance.

Magic in the form of science and technology will be pouring out. Genius’ recognized. Leaders taking their stand. Activism and human rights being spearheaded by Aquarian effect hearts rather than Capricorn addled minds.

The Middle Ages were dark, dirty. Full of chaos, death. Ego driven and religious war. Plague and famine.

The Renaissance is the Star, Moon, Sun energy after the fall of The Tower.

That means… YALL WE ARE COMING OUT OF TOWER ENERGY!

It’s the first Monday after vacation so most of the morning was spent catching up. Then I had lunch and sat in on a mastermind for ND business owners and then my 1:1 with my mentor and coach.
