Meet Hannah! 👋 We are thrilled to welcome this talented lady to our team! Hannah is a speech-language pathologist. She attended Calvin University, where she received her bachelor’s and master’s in Speech Language Pathology.
Hannah has had experience with pediatric populations in both school and private practice settings. She has experience working with a variety of pediatric diagnoses including language disorders, motor speech disorders, speech sound disorders, fluency disorders, autism spectrum disorder, and Down syndrome. She plans to continue her education and training in pediatric feeding disorders, gestalt language processing, and motor speech disorders. Hannah is certified by the American Speech and Hearing Association and licensed by the state of Michigan.
Hannah has recently moved from South Carolina back to Michigan, where she grew up. In her spare time, she loves to spend time by Lake Michigan with her friends and family. She enjoys reading, trying out local coffee shops, and traveling.
Let’s spotlight one of our wonderful speech therapists, Miss Isabel!
Isabel loves being outside, especially camping and going to the beach. 🏕️ She enjoys spending time with friends and family, especially her nephews! Isabel is a huge reader and you can always find her with a book in stow wherever she goes. 📚
Isabel loves being a speech therapist because she gets to help children feel confident and capable in their communication, which is a very rewarding and beautiful thing! Isabel loves building relationships with her clients and their families and to see the growth and progress they make together! ✨
Celebrating this sweet bride to be! We praise God for the time we’ve had with Miss Janelle. She has impacted the lives of so many Paper Plane kids. It is a bittersweet time preparing to say goodbye as she moves to South Carolina for her soon to be husbands residency!

We are thrilled to welcome Miss Katie to our occupational therapy team! Katie is kind, smart, and FUN and we can’t wait for you to meet her! Katie attended Saginaw Valley State University for both her undergraduate and graduate studies, where she earned her Bachelors of Science in Rehabilitative Medicine, followed by her Masters of Science in Occupational Therapy 📚
Her clinical experiences include inpatient rehabilitation, outpatient pediatrics, and outpatient rehabilitation, as well as at a women’s shelter and a transitional incarceration program. Katie loves to work and play with the pediatric population, and looks forward to continuing to learn and grow at Paper Plane Therapies! She is licensed by the State of Michigan, and certified through the National Board Certification for Occupational Therapy.
Katie currently resides in Grand Rapids. She loves to try new food and coffee places with family and friends. In her free time, you’ll find her traveling, reading, hiking, and doing anything outdoors, especially when the sun is shining! ☀️

Let’s spotlight another OT, Miss Kendra!
Kendra loves being an occupational therapist and could not imagine a more fun and rewarding job! She enjoys that she gets to be creative, playful, and watch kids grow and learn everyday. Kendra loves to incorporate obstacle courses, messy play and dance parties into her treatment sessions.
Fun fact about Kendra is that she has two sweet cats and a very joyful five month old at home who is almost always smiling!
Next up on the OT spotlight: Sophia!
Sophia has always had a passion for working with kids. She loves being a pediatric OT for all of the fun and creative ways to help kids meet their goals! She finds every day to be so different and fun. Her favorite things about Paper Plane are the team of smart and kind clinicians to work alongside, and the wonderful clients and families she gets to meet and work with! Miss Sophia has 2 mini dachshunds at home, Stanley and Stella 🐶
OT Month Spotlights continue!
Caitlin has always enjoyed working with children and as an occupational therapist, loves the opportunities to be creative, and cultivate connection with kids through play and sensory exploration. Her favorite place at Paper Plane Therapies is the sensory gym!
Miss Caitlin loves being a dog mom to her aussiedoodle, Malibu. She grew up as a competitive cheerleader and waterskier. Did you know that Miss Caitlin grew up in Michigan but has never been to the U.P.?!

Christie loves supporting her clients and families as they pursue growth, fun, and connection within a pivotal part of their story. She first became interested in occupational therapy as it encompasses her love for working hands on with people, being creative, and problem solving.
Did you know that Christie is originally from Canada? 🇨🇦 In Canada, she grew up on a farm. Some other fun facts you may not know about her is that she is left handed and has seen a moose in the wild! 😱

Meet Miss Hannah! 👋
Hannah is a speech-language pathologist. She received her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Calvin University.
Hannah has spent her career serving the pediatric population in early childhood, outpatient, and private practice facilities. She has experience treating a range of diagnoses including language disorders, motor speech disorders, autism spectrum disorder, reading disorders, and speech sound disorders. She has training in DIR-Floortime, PROMPT, LAMP Words for Life, the Wilson Reading System, and Lindamood-Bell’s Visualizing and Verbalizing.
Hannah plans to continue her education in Floortime and motor speech therapy as well as specific techniques for working with children with autism spectrum disorder. She is registered with the American Speech and Hearing Association and licensed by the State of Michigan.
Hannah resides in Grand Rapids. In her spare time, you can always find Hannah outside hiking, kayaking, or playing yard games. When she is not outside, Hannah enjoys puzzling or playing any kind of card/board game with her friends and family.
