We are currently hiring for the full-time position of Assistant Yard Manager at our SE Grand Rapids landscape supply store. This position includes the following: Loader operator, delivery driver, customer service (in person and via phone/email), yard sorting and organizing of inventory, general maintenance of equipment, scheduling deliveries, among other office duties.
***High priority on A+ customer service.***
This job is full time, but seasonal. We are open from approximately April thru November and typically work 50 - 60 hours per week during peak season (May, June, July) 40 - 50 hours per week during non peak season. We are open Monday - Saturday. Always closed on Sundays. Laid off in the winter months. (Opportunities for snow removal work if interested) We are seeking someone to be a long-term member of our team!

The perfect candidate would include:
Ability to work in a fast paced retail environment for 6 days per week.
Top notch customer service personality.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid Chauffeur drivers license with good driving record (CDL a plus).
General knowledge of the landscape industry.
General knowledge of equipment (wheel loaders, dump trucks, etc).
A positive attitude, Self Motivated, Dependable, Trustworthy, and Energetic.
Computer knowledge (email, point of sale cash register, credit card processing).
