With an impressive 30-year career in professional software development, Eddy brings a wealth of experience in large-scale software, mobile, and Internet applications. His passion for computer technology began in childhood, inspired by the 1983 film "War Games," which led him to start coding at just 11 years old.
Eddy's expertise is complemented by his diverse interests, including video games, tabletop RPGs, art, and music. This well-rounded perspective enhances his approach to problem-solving and creativity in his work.
On a personal note, Eddy considers his three children to be his greatest accomplishments.

There are many flash-in-the-pan companies that will tell you they can do 5 posts a week for you for a low cost. These are not QUALITY posts that reflect your voice and your brand. Stay true to who you are and stay the course. Your followers and clients are looking for steady and quality content, not an overabundance of more junk in their newsfeeds.

Ahhh, time. It's what we all struggle with. In order to make everything work, a plan is your best bet. Set aside a couple hours to make your social media posts and schedule them out. Aim for a post 1-3 times per week. Don't have the time? That's fine! Do what you do best for your business and reach out to us at Engine - [email protected] - and we can help!

If you are marketer for the business you are working in house for, make sure to follow other pages and see what they are doing. Get ideas, watch videos, use tools like Canva to make your posts vibrant. You can do it and it doesn't take much to be authentic and create something others will like.

At Engine, we do not do anything with video, but we know good equipment is needed. If you do reels, even with your phone, make sure to optimize it for reducing background noise or be sure to film in a quiet area.

"Evergreen," like the trees that remain constant over time, your content should be the same. Your ideas and voice comes from a strong foundation, make sure that shines!

Hashtags are a mixed bag. Some experts say they are not working like they used to, but we still use them, but more sparingly. Sometimes I use them as a funny and sometimes they are in to point people to me who may search for my industry. Pick 1-3 and use them once in awhile in your posts, but not every single time.

Update on Hosting - Most of the sites are now up again. Liquid Web is still addressing one box that has some sites on it and we will continue to keep in touch with those clients.

We have been seeing some of our sites coming back, but unfortunately not all of them yet.

Update - Earlier today, we began investigating degraded performance and were able to isolate the issue to some areas of our NetApp-based products and services, which include VMware, CloudSites, and SAN-based services. We have engaged the NetApp North America leadership team and have multiple active bridges with senior NetApp engineering teams working towards a resolution.

We will continue to post updates throughout the evening. At this point, we aim to provide a more detailed update tomorrow morning. Please know that our team is dedicated to resolving this issue and will be working nonstop until it is resolved.
