Cascade Yoga Studio offers the ancient, yet progressive, practice of yoga to challenge and nurture students on many levels.
The Wellness Academy at The Center for Physical Rehabilitation offers a wide variety of fitness services, including yoga classes, fitness classes, personal training, one-on-one yoga, and more! Our priority is helping you improve your quality of life and reach your wellness goals, while safely navigating any injuries you may have. Our team is knowledgeable in therapeutic exercise, and has direct resources to a great team of physical therapists.

We are proud to partner with this West Michigan non-profit that offers free yoga classes specially designed to meet the needs of lives that have been impacted by cancer.
This gentle yoga class is designed to accommodate all levels of experience and foster a supportive community for both current and former cancer patients
Class is offered every Thursday from 12pm-1pm and taught by Jenny Lintvedt.

This full-body, low impact, strength training class focuses on increasing muscular endurance, stability, and range of motion. A variety of equipment is utilized to provide resistance. If you need support adding a strength training routine to your life try this class. Back on Track is offered:

Stacy Steensma teaches this class on Saturdays at 10am. Stacy is also a highschool teacher and offers at yoga class to FHC students during the week so this is a great class to bring your teens too! Student drop ins are only $10 can be purchased in person at time of class.

What is Personal Stretching?โ
Personal stretching is a practice that leverages functional flexibility to meet a variety of health and wellness needs. In a one-on-one session between you and a skilled professional, your fitness goals and problem areas will be evaluated to create unique stretching routines. By targeting specific muscle groups and areas of the body, personal assisted stretching improves mobility, blood circulation, posture, energy, and so much more.โ

We offer both a 25 minute and 50 minute stretch session.

This class is designed to focus on creating more core strength and stability, to help to improve posture and performance of functional daily activities. This is an all levels class created for anyone wanting to build core strength and work on better posture.
This class is offered every Thursday from 8:30-9:30am with Jenny.

We use a variety of equipment and always provide the support of a chair to ensure your safety and comfort.

If you are looking to add more strength training into your workout routine consider joining us for one of our Iron Maidens classes.
Iron Maidens is a moderate-high intensity strength training class designed specifically for women. While focusing on muscular strength, this class also improves bone density and metabolism. A variety of equipment is used including barbells, kettlebells, and dumbbells.
Iron Maidens is taught by Erin every Monday and Wednesday at 9am.

Join us on Saturday mornings at 10am for Gentle Yoga. This is a perfect class for beginners. This slow-paced class uses props for extra support and emphasizes intentional movement and breathing. Itโs a wonderful way to ease into a yoga practice and feel grounded and peaceful.
