Self-care can mean doing things that are super totally tough.
Ex:
•Leaving a toxic relationship, (platonic or romantic)
•Eating healthy
•Breaking unhealthy habits
Yes, it INCLUDES moments of complete comfort, but the overall goal is for you to position yourself so that you’re healthy mentally, physically, emotionally, relationally, and financially.
You are worth it❤️
Take care of you❤️
If not you, show grace to someone else who is exercising emotional boundaries.

You know, that feeling that’s a combination of emotions.
Some days it’s hard to pinpoint where it came from.
The great news is that you can give yourself permission to embrace it and start your day over.
This can look like:
-talking about it
-praying
-engaging in physical exercise
-deep breathing
It’s totally okay to have an emotionally heavy moments.

I remember sitting at this same park, in the same spot, 3 years ago. I was desperate to make some changes in my career.
I craved the ability to walk in purpose without some of the “other” corporate stuff.
Started from just a few dreams and determination. Now, I have time with my family, for myself, and to help others.
Takeaway: If you’re looking for hope concerning your next career move, just know.
It’s BEYOND POSSIBLE!
The therapist-client relationship is one of the most unique and special relationships that exist. In this space I tell my clients:
• be yourself and show up how you’d like.
•scream, curse, etc, do what you need to release. This is YOUR SPACE.
•ask questions
•if you’re not ready to explore a topic, it’s okay, you will NOT be pressured to.
•if you ever have an issue with something I’ve said or done, please let me know and we will walk through it together.
I’m truly honored to be a therapist. The women I work with are AMAZING and I learn so much from walking alongside them while on their journeys.
