Anne Heche, TV, film and stage actor, dies at 53 from injuries in L.A. car crash 08/13/2022

Actress Anne Heche dies from injuries she sustained in a vehicle crash. She had severe burns and a severe anoxic brain injury. She was declared brain dead today per a released statement from her son.

Our hearts go out to her family, the family of the home she crashed into, and her fans. She unfortunately is proof that not everyone survives significant injuries involving polytrauma and the brain.

You may start seeing posts and questions about insurance companies issuing $400 checks in Michigan. Many folks have not heard about this yet.

Remain informed. Here's the rest of the story....

All Michiganders who pay car insurance will be getting their $400 *refund" payments soon. Make no mistake, these so-called refunds are not "refunds"; it is blood money (money obtained at the cost of another's life). It has been stolen from the THE MCCA FUND that was intended to serve survivors of catastrophic wrecks here in Michigan.

"The most devastating fact is that there is $27 billion to care for these survivors. When ANF was established, the Michigan Catastrophic Claims Association (MCCA) was created to protect insurance companies that could pay out millions of dollars for a single survivor. As a “reinsurer” the MCCA reimburses insurance companies once they pay claims in excess of $580,000. Every driver paid into this fund ($220 in 2019) when they purchased insurance as part of their PIP (Personal Injury Protection) policy and were promised unlimited, lifetime benefits if needed as the result of a crash. And now the governor wants to give away $3 billion of these funds set aside for care to all Michigan auto insurance policy holders."...
