Recovery-Infused Yoga Community Center
Mission : We provide free and affordable yoga to people recovering from a wide variety of ailments.
i am interested in the kind of people who have walked a few miles on rugged ground. who have felt the earth tremble beneath their feet and somehow kept on going. i am interested in the kind of people who have lines around their mouths and lines around their eyes and a thousand years of wisdom, gleaned from hardship and love and loss and lacking. i am interested in the kind of people who have had to fight for something. who did not feel beautiful once but came to understand that radiance is knit from the strands of the soul within. i am interested in the kind of people who have had to hurt and hope and heal. who learned the hard way. who chose resilience. who never knew the kind of strength that comes along when you have nowhere else to look but - up.

We are super excited to start a new ministry year with a night of worship! Our whole staff will be there to greet you, connect with you, and worship the Lord alongside our Calvary fam. It's going to be a special time of praising God together and being filled with His presence before we launch into a busy season.

1. Aaron Paul spent hours with d.r.u.g a.d.d.i.c.t.s
To fully immerse himself in the role of Jesse Pinkman, the actor dedicated his time to understanding the lives of a.d.d.i.c.t.s and former a.d.d.i.c.t.s. This preparation helped Paul deliver an unforgettable performance as his character.
2. The origin of the name Heisenberg
Walter White's alter ego was named after physicist Werner Heisenberg, a pioneer in quantum mechanics and Nobel Prize winner in 1932. Interestingly, the character's hat wasn't inspired by the real physicist; it was a serendipitous addition. Cranston requested a hat due to the cold weather, and the director saw it as a chance to symbolize Walter White's darker side.
3. Walter White's website is real
The website SaveWalterWhite is fully operational and features photos from the series. In the first season, Walter Jr. created this site to raise funds for his father's cancer treatment.
4. Only 62 episodes for a reason
The series concluded with 62 episodes because the 62nd element on the periodic table is samarium, which is used in the treatment of lung cancer.
Save the Date! 🍁 Next week we are so excited to have Dee Dee Taylor from Taylor Made Re-Entry at our Grand Rapids ReEntry Networking Luncheon.
Their mission is to advocate and provide resources to men and women returning home from incarceration. TMR has found an area of opportunity to strengthen our community by bridging the gap between law enforcement, impacted citizens, and their families. Dee Dee’s personal story behind Taylor Made Re-entry is incredibly impactful.
