Such sweet moments from Resident's outing to Boulder Ridge Wild Animal Park 🥰 This 80-acre zoo offers many unique hands-on experiences for all park-goers. Residents spend most of the day viewing and interacting with the park's wide range of unique animals. How fun!

Resident Outings - Drive and Dine Trip to Max's South Seas Hideaway 🌴 Residents briefly traveled to a 'distant' tropical paradise nestled in downtown Grand Rapids! They enjoyed an immersive dinner with drinks while bathing in perpetual twilight. Max's interior features an original design from Bamboo Ben and Notch Gonzalez, two of the best-known Tiki artisans in the world, along with a giant collection of vintage and modern Tiki art and décor. What a fun spring activity!

Highlights from the latest Dinner and a Movie: Jiro Dreams of Sushi 🎥🎞 Residents enjoyed a masterfully created meal by Beacon Hill's culinary team. Our chefs crafted a menu to immerse residents into the unique story of 85-year-old Jiro Ono, owner of a prestigious sushi restaurant in Japan. This 3-star Michelin restaurant only seats 10 guests at a time and is located in a Tokyo subway station, yet it is a once-in-a-lifetime experience for sushi lovers.

A big thanks to Attila Mosolygo, School Director and Junior Company Director of the Grand Rapids Ballet School, for bringing the program, Moving with Parkinson's, to our Residents! Moving with Parkinson's is based on the idea that people of all abilities can benefit from the therapeutic benefits of dance. Dance helps increase coordination, balance, flexibility, and strength, making it a great activity for Residents with and without Parkinson's. We can't wait for the next September session!
