✨10 Year Anniversary✨

These past 10 years have been such an unbelievable journey for me.

I am very grateful for all of the passionate people I have had on my team throughout the years, the guests of the restaurant that have now become friends and all of the memories we have created together that I will cherish always.

✨A BITTERSWEET MESSAGE✨

I’ve been procrastinating on publicly announcing Divani’s sale in hopes that I would find a qualified buyer soon enough to happily announce my successor. I learned yesterday that someone has taken it upon themselves to announce this for me so let me explain the truth of my why…

July 1st will mark my 10 year anniversary as the owner of Divani. In that time, my team and I accomplished my ultimate goal of building a restaurant & event facility that offers great food & drinks in a comfortable environment, but most importantly, we focus on welcoming each guest as family in our home. We have created so many amazing memories for & with our guests, built countless friendships, supported each other through difficult times, endured Covid together, and experienced some crazy adventures on our team trips ;) It is simply time for a new chapter in my life.

To address some of the speculative comments made on social media by people I don’t know, here are the facts: My team has known for a long time that this will be my last year, the business has no debt, I do not own the building, and the liquor license is a transferable Class C resort license with SDM. My reasoning for the notably low purchase price is that I want to see Divani continue under the ownership of someone with the same experience, passion, & energy I had 10 years ago, and I do not want to money to hinder that potential. I am hopeful that we will find the perfect buyer for Divani to continue into 2025. However, I will not sell the business to anyone I deem unqualified, that doesn’t care about my team, and/or doesn’t possess the same vision for the culture of caring for our guests.

I feel extremely blessed to have had this opportunity & I will forever cherish all of the memories we have created over the years…
