It’s always a pleasure to get a visit from a previous patient at the office.

Judy had upper and lower full arch implant replacement done 4 years ago. She hated her gummy smile and bad bite and had teeth breaking on her all the time. It’s so nice to hear she is loving her smile and teeth.

A few months ago, we received a phone call from a devastated patient. She was scheduled for upper implant surgery at another surgical office, and 2 days prior to her surgery, she was informed her surgery needed to be cancelled because “she didn’t have enough bone”. We said “please come on down asap for a consult; we have never had a patient that Dr. Jesin has turned away for upper implants because not enough bone. With specialized surgical techniques such as zygomatic implants anchored into the cheekbone, we can make the impossible become a reality! She was scheduled for the surgery a couple weeks later with our office and had 6 implants placed including the two zygomatic implants. She left that exact same day of surgery immediately with screwed-in teeth. No denture, no waiting. Look at that gorgeous smile now! She is now ready for her final permanent smile which will be delivered in a few short weeks by the amazing Dr. Amy Harmon

I want to take a moment to recognize our amazing in-house lab team that does all the magic behind the scenes. Andrew, Rydan, Amber and Michelle - you guys are truly magicians. Patients love to bestow all their accolades on Dr. Jesin, but it “takes a village” to create beautiful permanent smiles for our patients. This beautiful final set of teeth was inserted this week on a most deserving patient. Every set of teeth we make is custom and unique. Here you can see a final set of teeth that was reinforced with an internal titanium bar for incredible strength and rigidity for a patient with extremely strong bite forces. No two bites are the same and no teeth should be “cookie-cutter”. Over top the titanium bar, are beautiful zirconia/ceramic teeth that are stronger than natural teeth. This patient has been set up for a lifetime of strong chewing efficiency and beautiful esthetics.

Dr Jesin and one of our amazing lab technicians, Andrew Wheeler, had the opportunity to be part of a full arch panel today at the Paradigm Oral Health conference in Dallas,Texas. We had a great time collaborating with surgeons across the country and teaching others key pearls on digital full arch.

It’s been a busy full arch Wednesday at AOS. We just finished up an upper and lower A04 implant surgery and followed up with some lunchtime fun playing in this beautiful snow. Say hello to “Archie” - our full arch snowman ☃️❄️ Archie was a great surgical patient. He stayed “frozen” and still for the whole procedure 🤣😁

One week can make a world of difference! Last week, Antonio had upper and lower All-on-6 dental implant surgery.

Antonio hated his smile — for years, he used his facial hair and beard to cover it up and hide. Last week he made the leap to trust us with his new smile and you can see he was ready immediately to show it all off!

Daniela was a tough case (see X-rays in comments). We pulled out all the tricks and advanced techniques for her. She had been wearing a denture for years and had literally ZERO bone in her upper jaw. We used extremely complex “remote anchorage” implants called zygomatic, pterygoid, and transnasal implants to reconstruct her smile with same day fixed (screwed in) teeth. We were able to make her dream of biting into an apple again a reality.

Can you believe these are just her temporary teeth?! We can’t wait to see the final, permanent zirconia smile delivered in a few short weeks by Dr. Drew Hoekwater and his amazing team.

West Michigan mom wins smile makeover from Grand Rapids oral surgery office Beyond just cosmetics, this year's winner says a new smile is going to change everything in her life.

We are so excited for Cindy! She was suffering with a denture that didn’t fit at all due to extreme bone loss (see the loss of lip support from all the bone loss on the before picture). She had trouble eating, speaking, swallowing, and tasting her food. Meet local First Responder, Cody!

Cody is a local hero! As a first responder, he has seen things most people can't imagine. He has also experienced trauma caused from ill- fitting dentures within his own family. He was very nervous and almost cancelled his surgery. But Cody is a pro at facing his fears, and as someone who is literally the definition of "out in our community" we were very eager to help him achieve a smile through an upper jaw All-On-X full arch implant procedure. This photo is him one week out from surgery - Cody was in tears with the result and is now flashing an incredible, life changing smile to everyone he greets. His confidence in his smile has changed overnight and he’s already taking selfies with a smiling mouth rather than a closed hidden mouth.

Her daughter had done tons of research on finding the right place for her mom to get her teeth fixed up. They travelled from across the state to see Dr. Jesin. She was suffering with broken teeth, decay, abscesses, pain and embarrassment.

We did upper and lower All-on-6 dental implants and delivered her a gorgeous new smile. She is truly beaming with joy and the smile looks beautiful on her.

Just 1 week out from surgery and looking amazing!! He said healing from this has been easier than a single tooth extraction because the teeth were inserted right away and screwed on immediately. He’s had zero pain.

Jason had upper All-on-5 implant surgery last week to fix his broken teeth and smile. These are just his temporary teeth but they are screwed in, firm and secure and he loves them. The shade is a tad white but we will get that all sorted out when he is ready for his final ceramic zirconia teeth. We can’t wait to work with the amazing Dr. Austin Gooddyke at Sparta Family Dentistry to fine tune these changes and deliver an incredible final product to this amazing gentleman!

Dr. Mark Jesin had the honor to present at the Paradigm Oral Health conference this past weekend in Las Vegas to over 100 oral surgeons in attendance.

The topic was on “alternative implant options for reconstruction of the atrophic maxilla”

Another dental implant success story! Kim was suffering with terrible reflux and decay and she was struggling with ways to fix the decay without it recurring soon after. Three months ago we did upper and lower full arch dental implant surgery and gave her these same day screwed-in temporary teeth. We are now ready to work with her general dentist team at Woodmeadow Dentistry to deliver her final permanent screwed in zirconia teeth.
