A mini-series on Alcohol Ink Art: Blending Solution. What blending solution does for alcohol inks, is the same as what water does for watercolors! Blending solution bleeds the inks together and creates a beautiful blend.
Can I use 100% isopropyl? Yes! But in some cases, it can break apart pigments instead of blending them!

If you use the Pixiss Multi-Purpose mixer for resin, here is a tip for cleaning the reusable paddles. First, wipe away any resin with a baby wipe or disinfecting wipe. Then you can wash them in warm water with mild soap. Each mixer comes with three reusable paddles, which will last you a while if you clean them after each use. Happy mixing!

First little painting (5” x 7”) using the new Mythical Inks from plus a spatter of their gold ink. Their black paper is fabulous too—nice and heavy.

These are iridescent, color shifting inks that are mostly opaque so you don’t need to use white ink on the black paper! These are so much fun!! Pixiss, be ready, I’ll be stocking up on many of these plus bigger black paper, and probably you’re entire set of regular inks too!
