WOW! Thank you Kent County! We are beyond thrilled at the response to the Volunteer Fair we hosted last night. 500 friends from all across the county came by to support the biggest event we have ever held, all at our little office! We got hundreds of volunteers plugged into dozens of local campaigns.

Thank you to Linda VanWerden, Gail Zemmol, and all of the countless volunteers who helped to put this together. We would also like to thank the ABC News AU and FOX 17 for covering the event.

ABC News is filming a documentary in Michigan about American politics. It will release around October 3rd.

Special thanks to actor Sean Astin for coming by and spending the evening talk to volunteers and voters about the importance of this election! It was a pleasure to host you, Sean!

Thanks to Linda VanWerden for organizing an awesome Volunteer Fair. We had almost 500 people in attendance with fifty tables for Volunteer Sign ups. Incredible excitement and energy as we move forward to the November elections! Sean Astin lent his fame to Dems for getting out the vote!

Last night, well over 100 people joined us for our Primary Election Watch Party. In the coming days and weeks, we will share more about our candidates and their messages.

Thank you to everyone who ran in yesterday's primary. The Kent County Democratic Party is proud to support all candidates in the primary process and we thank everyone who put their name in. It is not an easy process and we commend all of the candidates for races well run.
