Out of all the pictures today I keep going back to this one. Whimsical golden hour walks in nature just like she’s been dreaming for the past year… and here it is- frozen in time, a forever beautiful memory. Sometimes I have to plead a bit get the Bride and Groom to leave the reception for 15 minutes to grab these sweet moments in the golden light. An engagement session that has been in the works since early this spring and we’re excited to share a small piece of this magical session and cannot wait to share the video footage next week!

Tonight was dreamy!!!!!

You wouldn’t believe me if I told you I hardly had any *scheduled* time with this gorgeous, fun, amazingly awesome bride in front of my camera - we made it work! Every spare second- waiting for first look, waiting for family to be tracked down for family pictures, walking to locations, 3 minutes in bridal suite before go time… I kid you not… HIRE THE PHOTOGRAPHER WHO KNOWS HOW TO MAKE IT WORK WHEN THERE’S VERY LITTLE TIME FOR PORTRAITS. Trust us and our process… we want you to enjoy your party and each other… celebrate huge all as I sneak in portrait time a minute here and a minute there. My camera NEVER stops focusing on the story of the day, scanning for good light, the best angle, what you should do with your hands, posture, your preferred side…. It’s all a blur at the end of the day but you can trust us that we’ve been freezing time all day long!

41 years young today!

When you make sure you have unrushed 30 full minutes with the bride, magic happens! Enjoy your morning and despite what your MUA says…. Don’t go last on your wedding day! Timelines run behind and having a solid 30 minutes with your photographer capturing your ‘Bridal Era’ will be something you don’t regret!
