My 1st Wedding Cake 🫣

I grew up going to weddings ALL the time. My mom was a wedding cake designer for years, so as a little girl I was able to see the entire process up close and personal. As you can see, her love for baking has carried over into my own life.

When I was asked to do a wedding cake, I knew I didn’t want to do it without her. Having my mom by my side for this was sentimental, and her smile in this picture is just... 🥹😍

A deep, dark caramel-y, molasses-y pie filling pleasantly teeming with toasted pecans in a flaky, buttery shortbread crust. Topped with a pecan half, spices and coarse salt. With my signature miniaturization of classic desserts, there’s no need to wait until Fall to enjoy these! Small enough to not feel guilty for indulging, yet satisfying enough for a 2-3 bite treat. 😍

NEVER been a fan of its aesthetic but when a friend asked me to try and gave me permission to put my own spin on it, I couldn’t turn down his challenge. After the party, he said the guests loved it so, I think we might keep this one around. 🍫🥥🍰😍

🥕 Freshly grated carrots, earthy walnuts, buttery cream cheese frosting, and my secret blend of warm spices. 🤫 Topping it with rosemary, carrot rosettes, and blackberries makes this one of my favorite cakes to make! The taste, the fragrance, the looks 😍
