A few tips for using punching bags:
-Stretch and warm up to prevent injury. Some light cardio is a great way to warm up.
-Punching bags aren't just for punching; they can be used for kicking exercises as well.
-Start slow and buy some boxing gloves if you're new to this equipment.
-Pay attention to your surroundings so you don't collide with anyone/anything.
-Don't be afraid to ask for help or tips!

New Cardio Equipment in Elkhart!
We are excited to update our cardio equipment.

During this time cardio equipment availability will be limited.
The Grand Prix is coming back to Elkhart this weekend!
There will be some road closures near Elkhart Health & Aquatics so plan your travel accordingly.
New equipment coming this week in Granger!
We are getting a new cable column with 12 stations! The new machine will be installed Thursday, August 1 from 9am-9pm, during this time the area will be closed for installation.
Swimmers are coached through workouts practicing technique and refinement. Distances and intensities are based on the individual swimmer’s abilities and goals. All swimmers must be at least 18 years of age to participate.
Swimmers work on:
-Competitive strokes: freestyle, backstroke, butterfly and breaststroke
-Starts and turns
-Drills, and everything in between!
Current Practice Schedule: Monday & Wednesday 6pm-7pm / Tuesday & Thursday 10am-11am
*All practices are held in the Competition Pool at Elkhart Health & Aquatics.*

Meet up on Wednesday evenings at 6pm for a 3-mile hike, and Saturday mornings at 9:30am for a 6-mile hike.

Have you ever tried weighted sleds? Located on the second floor of our Elkhart location and on the first floor at Granger, these versatile workout tools are open to any member.
The surprisingly fun sleds are great for all athletes. You can get a whole-body cardio workout in minutes, and runners can even use the sleds to improve acceleration.
There are two types of sleds, and each can be loaded up with weights to provide different levels of difficulty for your workouts.

In preparation for hosting the 2024 U.S. Olympic Swimming Trials, the new competition pool was built in the stadium in just 12 days! The trials started on June 15 and continue through June 23.
