This week, we had an amazing team of missionaries from The Collective Church. They came to support our teachers with training and also spent time with the students in the Refuge program and devotional. Pastor Alberto Bello shared with the parents and gave a training called "Seven Things to Be a Good Parent." It was an incredible message, and God touched the hearts of many parents.

Each testimony shared by the team with the students was wonderful, and they also connected with the families in the community.

The kids had an awesome trip to the movies! "Inside Out 2" premiered, and it was such a great tool for learning how to manage emotions and social skills in everyday life. It was a unique learning experience where they had fun and learned at the same time. The movie is all about emotions and how new ones come up eventually, showing that everyone has unique qualities that make them special.

What a wonderful job this team has done! Not only did they come to enjoy these days with the students, but they also connected with the parents. Pastor Chris shared a very important topic with them called "Family: Transforming the Community."

Every moment was enjoyed to the fullest. The biblical teaching left a mark on each child, and it was very exciting to see the children feel happy knowing that God can transform their lives and those of their families.

This small album is for you to see how extraordinary these weeks have been for us.

This was the second day, and without a doubt, God continues to amaze us. Today was incredible! We sang, enjoyed a delicious meal, made crafts, and had an amazing lesson called "God is the Way."

This morning, we kicked off with an activity called, "Jesus is the Rock." Pastor Chris spoke about how Jesus is our rock and he led an engaging activity where some students were boats, others were rocks, and there was a lighthouse guiding the boats. The challenge was that the boats couldn't crash into the rocks, which was quite difficult. Through this, the students learned the importance of having a guide and how God is always the lighthouse showing us the way, even when there are many obstacles we can't navigate alone.

Afterward, they participated in some more activities and then had a delicious snack.

Yesterday, the group of missionaries from Cascades Presbyterian Church in Vancouver, Washington, USA, arrived in Honduras. They will be spending the entire week at the summer school with the students and are very excited. They prepared all the materials they will be using tomorrow.

Tomorrow, we kick off with a lot of activities. God will make this week incredible, and we know that something will impact the lives of these little ones.

We had a hike to the Coke Cola Sign which is in the Merendon Mountain Trail, with students from 6th to 12th grade in celebration of Earth Day on April 22nd. This was an opportunity for the students to connect with nature and experience the physical and biological elements of our world. They enjoyed the scenic views, observed tiny forms of life, and gained a deeper appreciation of nature as the very essence of our planet.

The grand opening of the PBL project, which stands for "Project-Based Learning", involved parents as they are the best strategic partners for the learning of these young children. Each of them was marked by every topic they covered, as the project involved creating a journal called "Describing Myself in 100 Words". Every day they learned something different and had to describe themselves and simulate a topic, starting with how God created them in their mother's womb and how they grew and developed. Each one had a journal saying "God created me in his image and likeness, he created my hair like this, my skin this color, my eyes, he created my hands so I could touch and feel." It was a great project for everyone to get to know themselves.

Earth Day is an international day dedicated to our planet. This day draws attention to the environment and promotes the care and conservation of our planet. As part of their learning, the 11th-grade students decided to foster love and respect for our planet by representing the seven days of creation through laboratory practices. They had the visit of the youngest students from the institution, creating a bond of love towards our precious Earth as a demonstration of the love that God has given us.

The seventh-grade students are learning about professions in their English class. So, the teacher organized an activity where they had to dress up as the profession they wanted to be when they grew up and introduce themselves in English. Since the students are in high school now, it's a way for them to explore what they want to be through such an activity.

Students Welcome! We're thrilled to see each of you again. Last week, we gave a warm welcome to our preschool, school and high school students. It was amazing to see everyone having fun playing games, doing puzzles, dancing, singing karaoke, and learning choreographies prepared by the teachers. At the end of the activities, each one received a little gift from their teachers. We're ready to kick off the school year!
