A. Position Overview
Operation of a commercial mobile document shredding truck. Work involves servicing 25+ customer accounts per day at their location and in areas throughout Oregon and northern California 3-4 days per week. Individual will interact with customers daily to ensure professional, secure services are provided with skill, safety and a smile! Excellent customer service skills and communication is critical. People-persons only need apply.

All training provided including CDL if needed. Prefer an individual who lives in southern Oregon and does not need to re-locate.

Competitive hourly wage plus performance bonuses, retirement plan, and paid time-off. Wage for training period is $18.00/hr. to increase after 90-day probationary period to between $19-25/hr. Annual increases based on performance and tenure thereafter.

A. ESSENTIAL PERSONAL QUALITIES
1. Be professional, knowledgeable and courteous at all times with customers.
2. Punctuality, excellent attendance and attention to detail.
3. Willingness to learn new tasks, personal initiative---Flexibility and a “can-do” attitude
4. A basic mechanical knowledge and tool skills
5. Honesty, integrity, humility

B. JOB REQUIREMENTS and DUTIES
1. Available for work 3-4 days per week, Monday through Friday, and between the hours of 4:30am to 6:30pm.
EXCEPTIONS: Christmas, Christmas Eve, Memorial Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and New Year’s Day.
2. Routes will return to Grants Pass most workdays but 1 day per week will include an overnight stay.
3. Commercial driver’s license and current medical card.
4. Support recycling operations including operation of a forklift and a skid-steer loader.
5. Operator-level maintenance of commercial truck and equipment.
6. Maintain customer service forms and documents.
7. Keep accurate records (i.e. work orders, driver logs, customer payments).
8. Maintain equipment per manufacturer’s standards; organize documentation of all maintenance; troubleshoot faults/issues.
9. Learn a basic knowledge of the document shredding industry—history, current events, security laws/regs
10. Be familiar with and comply with all NAID Certification standards.
11. Wear and maintain work uniform and employee photo ID at all times on-duty.
12. Wear and maintain safety gear including eye and ear protection.
13. Annual and ongoing drug and background screenings including random drug tests
14. Maintain close communication with office/dispatch by cell phone.
